Just checked for homebargains online and my nearest store is about 150 miles away :(

Don't know if this is any use to people doing sweetie/night in hampers but CO-OP have bags of Haribo BOGOF (£1.09) or Budgens have them for 79p.

can anyone remember how much the terrys choc oranges were last year in Home bargains... I'm trying to get stuff in now for husband but am wondering if it's worth waiting for them to come into home bargains
    ???
terrys oranges just scream christmas to me...I normally get dh a selection box but figure these won't be in the shops for a bit, but terrys oranges are in now so he can have them this year, cos I only have til end of sep to be done with the shopping.

Why is this possessing my brain right now??!!

Lots of little bits to do today while dd is at school...and I'm going to take my dh's presents over to hide at my dad's cos if I don't he'll eventually find them.

Grand plan is progressing nicely, house is already looking decluttered and clean,
  • Oh I need to get to Home Bargains!! They close at too far a sensible time so I can't go after work, and we've been SO busy over the past few weekends....must go soon!!

  • Hello everyone,

I'm a few days behind but will catch up when I get back, am off to Scotland today to do my charity zip wire. Thank you so so much to Mary and mum2one who both sponsored me.

My mum is sponsoring us extra if we wear kilts, so we'll just HAVE to do a bit of shopping while we're there...

The weather is going to be horrible, who'd of thought it would rain in Scotland lol.

Speak to you all next week,

    Morning all,

Was in Tesco last night and they had large tins (1 or 1.5kg, I think) of sweets on BOGOF so you get 2 for £10. Thought they might be useful to anyone wanting to fill mugs etc for hampers. I bought Quality Street and Celebrations, but they also had Roses, Heroes, and Terry's Chocolate Orange segments.

Oh dear.............I;ve failed badly with de-cluttering, think I'm adding to it instead:eek:
Still, on the plus side, I've covered another shoe box for christmas, covered little box with music paper for younger sons 'Bryn rocks' pile of pebbles with a badge of a drum stuck on............cork stuck on placemats and just found three more really big paper clips so next project is making some coaster notepads -found a load of little slips of paper just the right size so that saves me buying any.
Just need to do cobweb chasers (4) and work out a way of wrapping dish mop and tea towel for washer dryer pressies (2).............dish mops are the ones with the handle so its not easy. (memo to self -next time get normal dish cloths!)

    Good luck Lucy...........don't envy you............:j
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
