This rather cute Christmas card is simple and easy to make for the little ones.
What you'll need:- Red cardstock
- Skin-colored cardstock
- Large white artificial flower
- 2 black brads
- 3-D white pearl fabric paint
- Red blush or pink chalk
- Double-sided padded tape
- Pencil
- White glitter
- Paper scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Pattern
Step 1: Santa Card Template- Trace and cut Santa face and nose pattern on skin-colored cardstock. For Santa's face, use a folded piece of cardstock, matching it up to the "fold line" indicated on the template.
- Trace and cut the pieces of Santa's hat pattern on red color cardstock.
- Pull off stem of large flower and cut off any green petals.
- Cut off two petals and trim petals for eye brows.
- Fold large flower and hot glue folded flower on bottom half of card.
- Place double-sided padded tape on the back of Santa’s nose.
- Place nose in the center of card above Santa’s beard.
- Place black brads for eyes above nose.
- Glue eye brows above eyes.
- Apply blush on cheeks of Santa.
- Glue hat to the top of Santa's head.
- Place double-sided padded tape on base of hat.
- Place hat brim on top of tape.
- Fold over tip of hat and hot glue tip on the right side of hat.
- Place double-sided padded tape on the back of the pompom cut-out.
- Place double-side tapes pompom onto the card so that it overlaps the hat brim and touches the tip of the hat.
- Pipe curls on brim, pompom, and along edges of hat using 3-D fabric paint.
- Sprinkle white glitter on top of piped curls. Let dry.
- Substitute white large flower for white faux fur fabric.

Nipped into the pound shop today for 2 things and spend £17:eek:.
Amongst them though were 2 morgan makeup bags RRP 4.99 and 3 Tracey Beaker Journals RRP 5.99 and a pack of 3 body sprays also went into Boots and spent a voucher from surveys on some make up and got wipes and tissues from Home Bargains.
2 presents for 8 and 10 year old girls
Cost £3.50 each - value approx £18.50 - just need to get a couple of pens to go with the journals.
Also found a really sturdy card desk organiser in Wilkos for £2 will decorate it and use it as a hamper box for friends birthday in November.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Just written Christmas Card list and struggled to find 10 people, it's not that I hate everyone lol just that I only send cards, don't bother giving them to people I will see. For a few years I was really organised and bought and wrote (cheap) cards for everyone I know but then forgot to give them out and they sat around for months!
So I have decded to just buy 10 really nice cards for the few people I buy for.
My Mum couldn't beleive I'm already planning xmas but I said that I will be the one laughing when she's running around like mad in December!
Anyways Baby number 3 is due a month after so I HAVE to be organised this year!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

sarah -thanks for the links. Ordered the pet sleeping bag yesterday for my friend so hope it comes.
More pressies now in gift bags I made - couldn't find 'biker' mug (megga senior moment) for foster daughters OH and just when I gave up and started on something else there it was :j So, thats now all wrapped up.
Placemats I bought last week from charity shop are now cork boards...............OH dismantled the cork board I never used last year and I had enough to do 5 of them........different sizes so I don't hide too much pattern. Last one I think I'll stick a notepad on.
So, not too bad a day:TI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

May sound semtimental, but what about a nice picture of the two of u.
Sounds a really good hamper, hope u dont think I'm being cheeky, but maybe leave out the dressing gown, when I travel, (now travelodges on cheapie breaks,), but when I use to travel with work, and stayed in hotels never bothered with dressing gown, after a few trips left it at home.
I know you've got him laptop bag already, but what about a laptop skin, added protection for laptop. (I got my laptop skin from Argos clearance on ebay - brand new packaged, was £6.00 free p+p.) He's got one already
Packet shoe wipes, usually get them from poundshops etc.
What about a hipflask, and a mini bottle, (if he likes a tipple), got a set from Asda, 2x mini whisky + mini hipflask, all boxed £5.00. Put it up for dad for xmas, I did pick up similar mini hipflasks, £1.00 from Poundworld. Doesn't drink v.much and has one already
Sounds great, as its items that he will use.
I know its more expensive, but what about a personal dvd player, get Argos value one for £50.00, maybe for bday or xmas idea.
Thanks mum2one for your help.
I think I will ask him what else he wished he had when he travels, will keep an eye out for the shoe wipes plus try and find something more treaty - will have a little crafty enquire about a portable DVD player and a lead to connect it to the TV in the room if he wants to. I think he will say he doesn't want one!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Well had a productive day yesterday
Went into card factory and brought 40 little cards for 99p - with cute puppies on them. Figure I have about 120 cards to send this year so might as well buy a few and make some but I think the ones for close family I will buy as they had some really nice ones there.
Plus one of the swaps I'm doing is an international one so fancy sending some 'welsh' cards to the ones in the USA.
Also brought 5 money pockets for £1 so that money pockets for step sister, step brother, 2 x cousins and one to go in Ben's Xmas eve hamper with money for Rudolph's carrots/biscuits etc and figure by the time I've made them it would cost me a lot more than that!
Went into pound land and brought 2 of the 'just for girls' boxes to make into retro sweet boxes for my eldest cousin and sister,
Also brought two mugs in Wilkinson's.
one is a tall mug with 'morning gorgeous' written on it with love hearts down the handle which was 99p.
the other is a smaller mug which is purple I think with 'high maintenance' written on the front of it.
Also home bargains I got two small pink princess rucksacks that were meant to be £3.99 each reduced down to 79p each as a star buy so they are going in my nieces hampers each.
Also decided that instead of baskets I'm going to buy some Xmas gift bags and put the items wrapped into them as they are easier to seal and easier to transport!
Oh and I will shamefully admit to having a touch of the deviousness about me today - saw the bracelet I wanted to buy for my mum in the window today and was showing my friend it but as I moved another girl and her friend started looking at it and she said I'm going to buy that tomorrow :eek::eek::eek::eek: No its mine! So went in to ask if they would have any more turquoise beads in - to which the assistant replied - we will be getting batches of beads but we don't know what will be in there.:eek::eek: I said ' oh b*gg*r I wanted it for my mum for Xmas but I haven't got £50 to pay for it now'. So said thank you and went to leave and was called back by another assistant in the shop who explained the other girl had just been taken on and was 'in training' and had forgotten to tell me that they have a payment scheme! :j turns out they will put the bracelet aside for me if I come in and make regular payments and the whole thing is paid off in 3 months (so i make that beginning of December!) but I needed to pay 20% today which worked out at £9.80! so I forwent my coasters and clips for notebook holders today (I'd of only spent more on paper etc) and put down the 20% for the bracelet which has now been taken off display and put in their safe! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T was landed - she also said if i go in and make regular payments then the deadline for payment isn't so strict. So I now sort of have my mums Xmas present too. So I make that a little over £13.00 a month but figure if I can pay £15 - I'll get it mid November and its done and gotten ready then - just wish I could see her face when she opens it now though!Time to find me again0 -

I know - felt a bit nasty but I was like I saw that bracelet 2 months ago and you know when you just think that's perfect for............ - well that was what I had and knew it was meant for my mum as when I saw her two days later she stopped by a jewellery shop and commented on the beads there and I said to my sister how perfect turquoise beads would have been. Then days later saw one - turquoise beads and a small cross charm.
Lol my friend joked that you know in films when you see the slow motion running with people usually shouting ' nooooooooooo' etc ( think very dramatic slow motion run adn dive) she was expecting me to do that if I'd of seen the girl actually buying it. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Time to find me again0
