Mary, I think it was you mentioning sausages. I went to Somerfield today and bought some that were ridiculously heavy to carry. £4.50 a pack, they were a very large size and lots of them, thought I'd freeze them. I hope they have ones like this nearer Christmas, never noticed them before.

I was thinking of you again re the gravy tubs. You know I mentioned I put herbal teas inside to get rid of the smell, I can't believe I can still smell the gravy. Will try putting more teabags inside instead of just one.

Angela - try just leaving the gravy tubs with lids off outside if its sunny -maybe the fresh air will help. Must admit haven't notice much of a pong of gravy from mine but maybe somerfields own aren't a very strong gravy..............lol

It's shocking isn't it?! Plus we can talior make ours to the individual, much better than shop bought!

I loved making hampers last year, will definitely do more this year. I am going to decorate boxes to save money on buying lots of baskets. I might save the huge one I found today to do a special one for my mum.
