Hi Tango
We have 3 cats.
We feed them on 1 tin of food per day between them in the morning and then with some biscuits in the evening. They used to only eat Felix (£2.78 for 6) but we alternate between that and ASDA's own (£1.88 for 6). ASDA's big box of biscuits is 94p compared to £1.94 for Go Cat complete.(I sometime buy this if on offer.
They are all healthy cats with shiny coats and no issues whatsoever.

I don't know about cats, but our dog is a very fussy eater. I used to buy Pets at Home premium stuff but then I saw some in Lidl and the ingredients looked similar so I got a big bag £3.99. The dog likes it and seems to be OK with it. Might be worth looking to see if they a cat food.0

One of the Freebies you might find useful: 5 James Wellbeloved Pet Food Samples They are prompt and the pertinent part of that freebie is where the OP states you can apply every 3 months, so keep a note on your calendar

Some super markets sell their own brand tuna flakes in small cans and I buy that for my furbaby periodically to suppliment his dry food. It is cheaper than tinned cat food, no additives and he loves me for it - whereas every brand of commercial cat food I have tried, despite being bigger, he picks at and then I end up throwing much of the tin away.
Go to your library and borrow:
"How to Feed your family for £5 a day" by Bernadine Lawrence: ISBN: 0722525710
If they don't have it, ask them if they can order you in a copy. The recipes are filling, healthy and although the prices are somewhat out of date, it is still a good little book to read through (includes a menu plan too)
All the very best of wishes ((hugs))~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

ok....i tried this last night in our big tescos on abbeydale road in sheffield - there were about half a dozen scabby looking celeriacs, and a broken packaged pack of 6 muller corners.........either i was too late and the bargains had been had, or the 24 hour stores dont reduce until much later???
went hoping to bag a few bargains, as my freezer got switched off a couple of days ago and we only discovered it yesterday!! managed to salvage a few things, and we are having chicken every day this week (lol!).......
shall give morrisons a whirl tonight as i now need to stock up my freeezer!!!wading through the treacle of life!
