Have you checked that you are getting the best deal you can for your telephone/gas/electric/insurance? - I've saved £'s per month, just by going for the best deals.0

Nope, it's not stealing at all. When you go to the till and present your items, a contract is formed between buyer and seller. The buyer is asking the seller to give them a price for which they are happy to sell the items. If this price is mutually acceptable to both parties, the contract is formed. The fact that a shop chooses to put a rather dumb robot in charge of this is their fault, not yours.0 -
Whatever category it comes under, quite possibly obtaining goods by deception. You will find it is illegal and you are likely to be in bother when caught.taxiphil wrote:Nope, it's not stealing at all. I don't think they make for anyone else - but have a look through some of the freebe threads to see if you can get samples from elsewhere to try them on. (Or contact manufactures direct and ask!) I have a dog - and I've found Tesco's premium brand to be very good - I'd introduce a cheaper brand(s) into their Iams, little by little. My dog now eats a mixture from 8 brands, (depending what's on offer), all stores in a big sealed container - topped up as I find a bargain. He's in perfect health, and I do avoid food with colouring added. He is a fussy eater, and this way I don't have the problem of changing from one food to another.0 -
Hi Tango, if your gonna change the cat food, the best thing to do is compare the ingredients to a few different brands and see which matches Iams best, to make sure they dont get any upset tummies changing the food, like my 2 do. I've heard Pets at home's own dog food is ok, not sure on the cat food though, my 2 eat James Wellbeloved. They used to get pouches of Hi-life as a treat now and again, and last week I got them tins to see how they go, they love it but now one of my cats has terrible dandruff, and a few people have said its caused by poor diet, so it looks like I'm gonna have to go back to the Hi-life. My dogs are BARF fed, and the only way I could feed them cheaper would be if I sent them out to hunt there own food, just wish I could convince the cats how good for them this diet is

I would have fewer cats (or none ), or feed them on 'real' food rather than on processed cack. Wild animals manage without this that and the other added dried mixtures...
I have chickens, only because they pay their own keep by providing eggs, and its cheaper to get a new one than take them to the vet if anything is up with them. They are NOT pets LOL;)
I would suggest the cheapest tinned food you can find!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Just before I went away last week the 1kg Iams was on bogof at Tesco. I don't know if it still is, but I stocked up. Cats are expensive to keep. I have two and see them as the 'luxury' item in my life. I get a lot of pleasure from having them though and am just glad I can budget in other ways.0
