Dont go to M&S - that's fatal for your budget!!

When checking out the Freebies board look at Pigsback, you can get Waitrose vouchers in exchange for free point, or at i points you can save up points for m&s vouchers and reward yourself with a treat!

    Best of luck with it.

    Hi there,

Some good advice been given so cannot add much except reduce, reduce, reduce - you don't have to measure quantities of products out as the manufacturer suggests. Watering down many cleaning products that you have in stock will make them last longer. Keep the old containers to reuse but if you change the contents make sure you mark them clearly so the children know what is them too.

Use smaller proportions of meat and add more vegetables. Use second class proteins which are cheaper and often more filling too. Recycle where you can to save spending money. Every penny unspent is a penny saved!

Try and allow yourselves a special treat every now and again. Hope all goes well for you. x :)

I know it sounds too good to be true, but it works a treat (until the supermarkets realise these robot tills are losing them money hand over fist!!)

Cheers,i have started weighing pasta and rice,as it was always a case of just guessing :o We always had loads of the stuff over, have been cutting back for a few weeks now,and it is :o to think of how often i used to go shopping, just because i felt i should.
Also you do become a bit 'brainwashed' when shopping in a large supermarket, you are on auto pilot :D
