No, but I had sent a query to Russ and got the automated reply back that he was away on holiday until 8th May. So was just trying to be helpful and let people know on here who said they hadn't heard from him. HTH

Check the date when they were sent out. You may find they were left for a few days with Royal Mail. This happened to my Mum's flowers but after an email to VF, they despatched a new lot. When we checked the posting date we realised it had taken RM SEVEN days to deliver them - that was not good and I consequently wrote to RM. Don't know why I bothered though because no reply was received:mad: .

I ordered the freesias on Sunday 7th for delivery yesterday 9th for my sisters birthday. I got a text off her yesterday morning to thank me for the flowers and she was well chuffed with them.

Have yet to see them myself but will do and likely to be ordering again sometime.

I've given up with VF. After all the good comments here I thought I would give them another go and ordered some feesias for my mums birthday. I ordered them on Thursday (4/5) and the order said they would be delivered between 6/5 and 8/5. I also paid for a small box of chocs to be added.

The flowers didn't turn up until 9/5 (yesterday) were half dead and the the chocs I had paid for hadn't been included

I've emailed customer support and got the usual "we will get back to you, but we are busy at the moment" automated reply.

The company shouldn't be offering these deals if they aren't big enough to deal with the demand for them.

I ordered last Wednesday and received Friday. Flowers were well packaged and in bud. They bloomed on Sunday and are very pretty and smell great! I expect them to last through this week and perhaps longer. A good experience all round.

I've already ordered Fressias which arrived on time and my friend was very pleased. Orders are sent by Royal Mail so I guess the risk of them arriving on time is the same as if you had sent a parcel yourself. The Fressia offer has finished now, but to replace it they are doing a $29.99 (sorry pound sign not working on my keyboard!) Asiatic Lilies (7 Stems) with Beargrass for $9.97. I've just ordered some for another friend. I'm sure they'll all think I've just come into money sending a gift that would normally cost so much more. I love sending flowers and it's an extravagance I can now afford at these prices. I've read the recent comments on the thread and I know it's dissapointing if things go wrong, but I bet there are many more people who have had good experiences who havn't made a comment.... let's hope i don't have to eat my words!! The link for those who've just found this thread and doesn't want to go searching is https://www.valueflora.com/. and before anyone asks - NO i have no connection to the company - i just liking saving my money! There's a few if us about!!! LOL.

I've had an email back from Customer services and I have to admit I'm pretty impressed. They apologised, and are going to send my mum some new flowers, plus her chocolates. They have also offered a free bouquet for myself as a good will gesture:D

I am pleased that they do respond to complaints positively BUT I still think either I have been incredibly unlucky having 2 orders go wrong or that they have bitten off more than they can chew.

That said if my mums replacements and my flowers turn up ok I will probably use them again in the future simply because I know that if there is a problem customer support is good (all be it a little slow at busy times)

At last flowers arrived - a week late and second time of sending them. Grandmother was impressed with them, only problem we have is she's off on hols on Sunday and so will only have a couple of days to enjoy them. Must admit thought I shan't be using this company again.
