Ramblers bad attitude towards Cyclists.
I've been training hard for the Manc to Blackpool 63 mile charity ride and what has become more apparant than ever over the last few weeks is the snobbish attitude of "i won't move out of the way for anyone" stance that ramblers take.
If I use my bell many seem to take offence that i'm suggesting they stand aside and let me through. If I don't use my bell they shout something derogatory which includes "use your bell" while waving their rambling cane
I do my fair share of walking in the summer have no problem moving to the side of a bridleway or canal towpath if theirs a group of us blocking the way of a cyclist.
Why the attitude ramblers?

Well if you read you own link, it clearly states cyclists should give way to others on the towpath. It appears you're the one with the attitude expexting them to move for you. Or cant't you comprehend that?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I have exactly the same problem down our country lanes. Whenever I come up behind a cyclist when I'm in the car, I can blast the horn, and they still don't stop and wave me past, and I end up having to slow down and squeeze through.0

How can you give way to somebody travelling slower than you in the same direction?0 -

Don't get me started on cyclists two abreast. Should be made to ride in line, with a 100m gap between each one.0
