Am going to do some mad flying tmrw morning as I have a flylady coming round, have never met one before so hope she won't be too shocked by my flat, it's by no means perfect! I feel more nervous than if a non-flylady was coming round!

Well done Jo on finishing the LR, do you like it now

:rotfl: Your comments about meeting a flylady.....I met a fly lady 'who shall remain nameless' who travelled 20'odd miles, cos she didnt want me to come to her house! ;)

Em, yes I do like the living room, I think..... It is darker than I thought, but it looks better now its had a second coat.....I havent put the curtains up yet, but you can judge for yourself.

Its only one wall thats this colour, the other walls are cream, which you can kinda see. The walls are dry to touch so have put the pics up so you can see what it would actually be like, but my cutains were expensive, so Im not putting them up till I know its 1000% dry :D

Apricots for tomorrow's bit of cake chopped ready to go while waiting for both DW and WM to drain... I think I managed to get the timing right on the sink...

Off to put something a bit warmer on and march myself round the block another couple of times. My 8341 really isn't enough considering the amount of chocolate I must be inhaling at the moment!

ETA - your LR looks great Jo. You won't know whether you like it until everything's back in place and you've lived with it for a week or two, but it looks as if it will work very well!

If you don't find it before you go to bed, gather a load of glass things like wine glasses, casserole dishes etc. and line them up, three deep about 2 inches apart, against the door (only has to be at the opening edge). And take your mobile phone to bed with you. That way, if anyone tries to open the door, the glass will move and smash together and make a noise which will wake you.
Unlikely to be on here tomorrow as we have a leaving do for 2 people after work (assuming we have any staff left to go to it!!) and I'm not coming home in between. Night all, sleep well x

Sleep well Frodders - hope you have a good time tomorrow night

Oh and Jo - I can't comment on the paint because I don't like brown! But you've done a good job.

    Like what? Brown? :rotfl:

No, the rest, is cream and cream, and - oh yeah, cream

Its nice - it was like this two, nearly three, years ago when I moved in and Ive never done anything to it since. A mucky boy, and mucky walls later, it really needs doing......the walls have only been able to take so much cleaning!

Im going to over lots of the cream with another coat which should be enough.....havent thought about upstairs yet

ETA: Soappie - i dont like brown either which is why im struggling with it.....the colour is supposed to be Biscuit! It was supposed to be like a beige colour

Im going to wait a day or so and put the curtains up, and then leave it for a few weeks......Im not ready to paint it all again just yet :rotfl:
