Am going to do some mad flying tmrw morning as I have a flylady coming round, have never met one before so hope she won't be too shocked by my flat, it's by no means perfect! I feel more nervous than if a non-flylady was coming round!

Have fun...its lovely to finally meet people :D

Soappie - congrats to your DiL. Like the number of steps from the pc to the kettle but don't forget to add in all the extra trips to the loo

Just got the chocolates out that I bought for the teachers last Friday, and noticed the use by was June 2009. Thank you very much Mr. Tesco. Not kept the receipt so can't even take them back.
You will just have to eat them yourself then :p
Not necessary - all flyladies understand... we live in real homes not show homes.

My personal trainer agrees with you all and has cancelled tomorrow's session. I was about to start the final batch of the cake, but have run out of clingfilm :o which is essential when making this...

... I went for a walk while making all my phone calls and am up to 8000 steps, so I've decided that I'm going to:

    a. run a cleaning cycle on the WM and DW at the same time, as I need to put soda crystals down the sink when they're both draining as they all three share a waste pipe and I think that might be causing the smell in the utility room
    b. as soon as I've let the water out of the sink, go for another walk, as the last one really did make me feel better

Then I'll go to bed, and get up in time to go to the shop when it opens (6.30) for clingfilm, make the cake, and then get on with clearing up the chocolate, doing my last bits of shopping, packing etc and hopefully some walking, as apparently I have to drop the cake off just after lunchtime. Then I think I'll have a swim at the hotel and sleep for the afternoon!

I thought I might try and find little paper bags for the cake instead of boxes... I would make some out of baking parchment, but it's a bit late now!

    Catch you later...
  • Have finally decluttered Ebay sales into envelopes, and will post tomorrow. I will reclaim the floor somehow!

Now I seem to think we have some Hull ladies on this thread? Can you please let me know when the new family history centre re-opens please? I need to come and view some records - seems I've married into a "from Hull" family (Sculcoates) with some interesting skeletons. We have theories but need to see the archives to flesh them out and agree or disagree the premise! :o:D

Now who is to blame foe getting me into this genealogy stuff - its way too addictive. I'm haunting the postman awaiting some GRO certificates....:D

Back to sorting bootsale & charity shop bits,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
