SS supergirl - awh babes - huge squishy hugs for you - that must have been so difficult but amazing for you - 137 questions !!!!!- what enquiring minds - and obviously they want to know/understand better about DD3's condition/ antics etc. I know you will manage fine but I am sure its quite daunting in some ways.
I am always amazed at the questions my 6yo niece asks about my muscle disease and my cancer - they take in far more than we give them credit for!

MOJ2 thats sounds good - hope you get the course sorted out ok - be careful with that worktop!!!!!
pigpen :p:p I didnt mean you :rotfl: hope your 'major' problem sorts itself out - and there is no way you have a teeny mind - look at all that studying you are doing/have done already in your life and then going to uni - you have brains!!!! I wouldnt like to be in the SW shoes if you start on her!!!
    toots xx

Loads of vibes for Pigpen Ds and family.....OF course they should be allowed to stay for the weekend, doesnt she know you are Supermum....is she stupid!!!!!!

((Hugs SS))...not quite the same but when DS1s excema was so bad he was in hospital for several weeks the children in his class did something similar....wanted toknow if it was catching.....why did his skin bleed.....why did he need to wear all the bandages etc....they accepted him really well though, they were just very curious.

Good luck vibes for ....Boddys DD

Thank you all for the comments about my DD...I am very proud of course more so as she is a total jeans and converse girl didnt think I would find any dress she liked, never mind along one.

Hugs Triker, what a horrible thing to happen, glad you got it sorted, did they apologise??

  • SarahShattered - I think this is a great idea - it will hopefully answer all the questions the children are wondering about rather than the information adults think they need to know. I am not very good at explaining myself - what I really mean is that children often ask the wierdest questions as well as thoughtful ones but your chat will help thm to understand you DD - I hope your meeting goes well at school today.

Pigpen - I hope that your meeting goes ok with SW - there are some nice ones out there somewhere, a few in our office - but I have to add when one of our staff gave them a hand last year we called it going over to the 'dark' side!!

Right I should be doing the utility room - I need a kick up the backside - it is too nice sitting here with my cup of tea, 'chatting'.
I am going to set the pinger for 20 minutes - will then have my shower and report back before I leave!

I've got a meeting with the senco today. We're doing a talk with the children in DD3's class on Fri. All about DD3, and why she does the things she does. I couldn't talk about this before because I was way too overwhelmed.

Big hugs and coping vibes hun xx

    Mornin' everyone..

Freecycler didn't show up for my clutter yesterday, she emailed to say she was on her way - so I doubt she had any intentions of showing up
Had a couple of other queries so hopefully it will go soon.
Ranted at DD & DS last night about the complete lack of help around the house - they do their own ironing & rooms, but only after much nagging & threats. Both of them were asked 4 or 5 times yesterday to move some stuff they had left lying around & it wasn't until I switched the router off that they actually did it.:mad:
Off to a gig tonight - let off some steam

Morning everyone, I think I lost a day somewhere  Where did Tuesday go..did anyone see it go past their way at all..lol

Pigpen sending happy SW vibes so that she is a bundle of loveliness and agrees to Jacob staying a weekend. Although I have no idea why this isn't a given anyway as you are his grandmother etc..

SS hope all goes well with the talk, and wow what a lot of questions from the children. Hope they aren't too intrusive.

Toots, that is a long list please don't overdo it sweetie. Aww how come others get pms from you and I don't (and I don't want a greeting one....lol) Heck I don't get pms from anyone..lol:rotfl:

Well I've been up since 6.30am when I hung the washing out on the line, but I keep looking at the sky and praying that it isn't going to rain. Actually it might be dry now so I better get it in. It has had a lovely blow, so should just need airing/ironing. Besides it was only a couple of shirts, nighties and knickers - not a lot really..lol Just got in and it's still wet and I got rained on..lol

I cleared out the food cupboard while I was pottering around in the kitchen, and somehow have managed to throw a binbag of stuff away. How come I have no idea, especially seeing as the cupboard had been totally decluttered when the kitchen was done in November. Hmm think I had better keep on top of this one on a regular basis..

Oooh can I use out of date bread mix, it's only by a couple of months so nothing major, does anyone know?

Also made a jelly for pudding tonight as I found some jelly packets hiding in the back. I put some blackcurrants, that came with the veg box yesterday, in it as it was a blackcurrant jelly..mmm scrummy :j

Not a lot of activity on the bird feeder today, think the birds know it is going to be a horrible day. Although Mr Wood Pigeon has been around a few times, the last time he was followed by one of the doves. And they were both on the feeder - I'm surprised it is still in one piece as Mr Wood Pigeon is twice the size of the dove and both perched on the feeding tray..

Have therapy this afternoon, which I am not looking forward to as I don't know what we will be discussing.
