Well I've half done my OU final assignment but then BFUR came round with such gossip! Which was actually credibly factual.

    But, unfortunatley :silenced: :silenced:

So hush hush that she didn't want to tell me on the phone just in case someone's listening in so she popped down. (And no - that's not paranoia!)

Involves drugs, local business men andlocal high finance. Whilst it's not actually surprising and a lot of it's logical it's sort of gobsmacking because a load of odd little jigsaw puzzle pieces have fallen into place all of a sudden.

Ooooh, I so wish I could say more but I can't. But I'm sitting here alternating between dropping my jaw and grinning. :silenced: :silenced:

So, I haven't actually achieved completion of today's extra task - the OU assignment but I have chosen my 10 pics and sized them properly and edited etc. Tomorrow I will do the write up.

    I am KER nackered.

What a day, last night, stupid here decided to check her works email late last night, MSE's fault as site down.:p

What do I see, an email for expressions of interest FOR MY JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cue, sleepless night (not too well at mo so this didn't help).

First thing in the morn my manager rings and says, you can apply for your job if you want but its going out because you're on a temporary contract.

Erm....no I'm not, it's permanent and has been for over 3 years and I'm looking at my job descrip, contract, original job offer etc and quoting from it and cross referencing all data.

Oh!!! says manager, so I arrange to meet up and gave copies of all my paperwork proving that I am in permanent employment etc.

Then have to deliver copies to other part of department, where they confirm that on the system I am permanent so they don't know why my job is being advertised!!!!:wall:

Anyways, my job advert is being pulled, do you think anyone had the courtesy to apologise for an almighty ballsup........NO.

Ickle rant over but I'm still quite upset about the whole thing.

Flying wise I've binned my head because its rubbish.

Triker - that's awful! No wonder you had such a bad night. I'm glad it's been sorted but I bet it's left a nasty taste.
