I have just spent 20 mins degrotting behind and underneath my TV!

Its not something I can easily move by myself so when Im hoovering under the furniture etc, its not something I can do - I push around the sofas etc easily enough but I dont think Ive cleaned under there since I got my new television.

Ew, it was gross - I should have made that one of my 5 jobs!

Anyway, I have been able to sort out some of the understairs cupboard, so have made a start on that. And have got out all the ironing.

Kitchen is redone, washing machine is about to go on.

Am just decluttering the LO off to bed first :D

Have nearly finished living room. It wasnt too bad. There has been a armed robbery at the bookies at the top of my street. I thought there had been an accident when I saw all the police and the helicopter. Hope no one has been hurt.

    Recycling out.
    Letters to file.
    Phone my friend.
    One load of washing done.

Evening all, not managed to make a start on the LR (yet)! I have been to the gym and now gonna have some dinner - don't want to mess up my lovely kitchen so it'll need to be a quick snack!

Question, what's the best way to clean a venetian blind? My Mum used to do it in the bath and hang out to dry (and I also recall she used to make us clean each slat if we had been naughty), ha!

    My 5 Things List:

    1. Sort through suitcase - about to start tonight
    2. [STRIKE]Buy holdall[/STRIKE] - Bought a lovely pink girlie one!
    3. Put table in loft - OH will help tomorrow night
    4. Find more clothes for charity
    5. Have some Me Time!

Dusty - doing a non-rain dance for you!
I just wanted to say that I won't be on here for a while as things have just got manic here with work and stuff (all good :D) and to thank you all for all the help you have shown me over the last few months. I have been grateful to have you as friends, even if it is virtual, as you are some of the most friendly, helpful and kind people I have ever had the fortune to 'meet'.

Awwww, that made me blush, on behalf of all the lvely people on this thread :o Take care, and hope to see you back soon :A

I think that I would really like to take part in this thread - I used to use the fly lady site about 3 years ago, BUT I really do not know where to start - I missed Monday and will work the rest of the week. Does anyone else work and manage to do the tasks?

I work 2 days a week. I couldn't get stars to start with, but keep doing level one, then build up (and keep decluttering :p ) and you'll soon be getting stars :T

Yes please :D I was lucky enough to dodge the rain today. I threw it don in the middle of the day, but by the time I came out of the office, my bicycle was dry :j Nothing worse than a soggy saddle  :rotfl:

    Off to find my list.

Hi all - and welcome to the newbies.

I work everyday - used to be full time and only recently reduced my hours! Like the others have said - start with level one and I promised it gets easier as the weeks go on.

You quickly start to notice a difference in your house and so will other people!
