You need to write a list first:rolleyes:
You mean a list other than the green one that I did earlier..... ?:confused::confused:
Ok, seriously, how about this for a 5 point starter:
    My list:
    1. Book ferry for holidays
    2. Make list of what to take for me, DH and DS.
    3. Make list of things to bring back incl. where to get them/places to go e.g. museum etc
    4. Decide what to buy for niece birthday (will also be done when away as shops there better than here!).
    5. Check friends mail twice this week.
    MACAW:
Do physio exercises at least once a day (Mon-done)
    Tue:
Whatever PigPen tells me to do- level 1 (and maybe 2). Tomorrow is a Toddlers day so won't have so much time.
    Dailies:
    1. check e-mails/surveys
    2. feed cat
    3. water plants
    x OS
(PS Am now frantically scribbling my list in my book!).

You are right Toots, it's just that once I started thinking of things I need to do I realised that there are quite a lot! I've only got 5 things on my list now tho. You can't blame me for being a bit enthusiastic about the new challenge!
yes loads of us have numerous things we want to get done - its great that your enthusiastic but if you had more than 5 would you have managed them all - i doubt it - so be really enthisiastic and do all 5 on your list - if you manage them the do some of the daily lists bits that you have missed or all of the extras - dont overdo the challenge or you wont achieve it and give up.
hugs to kazw and dusty for your rain and drain problems - hope they get resolved before the next deluge.
TAG WTG - but get your head out of the oven pleeeeeeeeeeeease!!!:rotfl:
jjef WTG just another year - it must be good to actually have a finishing date in sight!
    oddjob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hello!!!

Well then... How about I do a daily list instead?

1 washing load washed, dried and put away. (TD or line)
    [STRIKE]Dishes and kitchen S&S[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Living room tidied and hoovered[/STRIKE]
1 HHC on baby arrival preparation
[STRIKE]1 HHC on something else (bathroom, bedroom, etc)[/STRIKE] - sorted out a huge pile of washing

and if I do anything else it will be a bonus it will be something too much!!!!!!!

Busy week, we just got the keys to our new shop, my family, DH and I opened a takeaway sandwich shop in August and the new one will be a coffee and sandwich bar. We were buying the equipment off the previous tenant but he tried to s***w us so we haven't paid him a penny and now need to buy new stuff. Dirty pig that he is pee'd in every toilet before he left! But it's a nice place, really nice and will be even nicer when me (no way missus - not you - no painting - not allowed - not even supervising - too much stress!!!!!) mum and dad finish painting over the lime green walls!
are we going to have to lock you in and throw away the key - rest -
you dont want to be early do you? NO
and you want everything to be ok dont you? YES
and you dont want to be putting yourself at risk do you? NO
and you dont want to be putting the baby at risdk do you? NO

    well then................................:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
a small daily list sounds fine - provided its nothing to demanding
its great news about the new shop -:mad::mad: to the dirty pig that has left his mark behind. How ignorant and disgusting some people can be - never fails to amaze me.

No sorry Golden Goose - you need to do all 3 levels for a star
rosepink snacking is bad for you when you are trying to lose weight - try drinking a glass of water instead - it fils you up and you can then wait for dinner - why dont you make dinner so its ready for when Dh comes in - he must be tired after working and you wouldnt have to wait so long to eat.

domino sue - good to see you posting!!
ok I am off t'other side to do the awards
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Happy birthday Tag - only you would spend it cleaning the oven though!

I think I have finished work work for tonight, plus I have ironed a shirt for DH for the morning, hand washed some more of the decent plates and emptied the DW. Really need to get kitchen and DR back to clean and hoover downstairs. Just need the purring kitten to go away first......

Actually snacking is very good for me, as I have a healthy snack and my blood sugar doesn't drop which means I don't eat rubbish later. I have to eat every 2-3 hours or else I'm in trouble. I do normally make dinner but tonight DH said he wanted to do it as he has a plan to make one of his specials. I am a bit worried about him doing it on a work day but he says he wants to.
How are you today Toots? I hope you are taking your own advice to Tia! ;)

Have just washed up, kitchen looks good now after all the cleaning I've done in there today. Have also decided which cupboard to clean out, it's going to be the jam cupboard

Lol, Tooti, I meant we, and I actually meant my parents and brother not me!!! I'm more a 'we as in they do it and I say look at what we did' type of a gal!

DH is taking my mum to ikea on wednesday morning (he has a 7 seater car, so the seats are coming out and its the size of a small van), he commented on the fact that I didn't say I would bring my car up to have a look. Thing is, I am feeling very pregnant and just can't be bothered leaving the house. But I do have to get some excersize due to the gestational diabetes so I figure housework is excersize.

awards done up to post 260

Golden Goose - can you just clarify your challenges for this week a wee bit - are they for evryday or just once a week - dont want to give you an award if you still have to do the rest of the week honey?
Each of the 5 items on my list should take approx 1 hour each. I hope to do one a day plus my dailies. Anything else I achieve this week will be a bonus but I won't be going for stars - my aim was to get some of the other stuff sorted once and for all - drains did not help today but I'm so pleased I still achieved one of the things I have been putting off for ages.
I think this is an excellent way of looking at the challenges - an hour is long enough so that you wont get fed up and lose heart.
