Hi all - I've done quite a lot now - 3 days done to level 3! Not bad for my first week... Also, I imagine it will be easier next week as I've done some big sorting out. Just a lazy rest of the afternoon for me now and nipping round to my friend's house who lives round the corner later as she wants me to water her plants whilst she's on her hols.

Hex have you tried pilates? I've got some good pilates dvds from Lynne Robinson. I managed to get double dvd box sets - I think they were from CD wow, but I'm not sure. Each has 3 25min work outs on them, all with different exercises, which is good, cos you can do 2 in a row if you're feeling energetic! It's great for your legs/bums/tums and doesn't require jumping around all over the place!

Rosepink - i love Morse and I've also been watching all the Lewis's -they're pretty good too! Always good for a lazy afternoon...I'm a bit obsessed with mystery/crime books as well
I love watching Lewis, they are just as good as Morse. I love all mystery/crime things really, Poirot, Miss Marple, Frost...

Hex, I really like Davina’s DVDs. The one I had is this one – each one targets different things, but you can focus on different parts of the body as well. On it she has her two personal trainers working out with her. They each do a different level so you can choose who to watch and copy them depending on how hard you want it to be – for beginners you can do a less intensive one and build up IYSWIM. You do need to have a certain amount of floor space - enough to take one step to either side of you and one step in front and behind you, which I don't have which is why I don't really do the DVD's but when I get a bigger place I will start using them again.

I didn't do the potatos for DH, I feel asleep instead :o

Thanks for your email toots. I now know why there were so many pages to catch up on from the last couple of days. I'm sorry to hear your news, but glad that you've managed to get everything sorted out now so that you know you can make the most of whatever time you have left. I hope that the time you do have is as fulfilling as possible. Spend the time doing the things YOU want to do (on that note... only do work on your flat if it will make it more comfortable for you/make you happy... you can't take money with you, so don't worry about the value when it sells), and if you feel that you can share your wish list with us, we'll see what we can do to help. Lady-Liberty is setting you an excellent example with all her gallivanting about ;). A big flylady meet is a great idea, and we need to have it soon enough that you're going to be well enough to travel and to enjoy it.

soappie - if I'm unemployed I may well join you for some/all of your trip (in fact, if there are two many flyladies to visit, we could take different routes and make sure we cover everyone between us!). Maybe you should take over the flylady map from flower, and use it to plan/illustrate your journey?

I'm home briefly to drop my stuff off and catch up here, and am then going back for a family meal tonight. I would post a picture of the cake but I can't remember how to post images direct into here... if someone lets me know I'll give it a go later... In the meantime, its on facebook as my profile pic...

The wedding was fabulous, my brother and new SiL are ecstatically happy.

I must go and unpack a few things before I go back... see you all later!
