Afternoon all :hello:
Everyone enjoyed seeing the SS Camp pics this morning and W won an award for being good at camp and coining the phrase 'chicken with a handle' or to you and me chicken drumstick :rotfl::rotfl:
Toots what about some tootifrootis for an avatar or Sean Connery? Or what about something representative off your wish list. Then as you achieve that you could change it for something else?froddington wrote: »AnW - would you recommend Ice Age in 3D? Am debating whether to go for that or the normal version!
TBH I think either version would be good, W loves getting the glasses and wearing them, it's all part of the fun for him. Compared to some of the 3D stuff we saw when we went to DisneyWorld I don't think it was quite as good. But it might be better if you are sat mid way up the cinema and ideally in the middle of the row. W wanted to sit right at the back and so I don't think we got the best view so to speak.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Re the Specials
Just around the time they became famous they perfomed in Valliland. Terry Hall and one of the others (not Neville or Lynval) sat in The Blue Bell in town...before their performance and I spoke to Terry and I didn't know who he was until an hour later when I saw him on stage...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I am a bit cross on DDs behalf. She had planned to go to town this afternoon with one of her 'friends' (the one she goes to Jiu Jitsu with) and this was cancelled as said friend 'couldn't go' to town. DD thought it was because she was at her mums (they live between two houses that girl and her brother are sometimes at dads, near here, and sometimes at Mums, nearer Quillion actually).
So DD came in to town with me. Card shop was open in the precinct (it isn't usually on a sunday) and who should come strolling out?
Yep! Some friend. She'd gone to town with a different girl.
I now have two new laundry baskets! Both mine were cracking up - though one of them, I realised, was 24 years old :eek:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Got back today from a lovely weekend away at my mums and looked at the emails to find that I've been left a really, really unfair negative feedback on ebay and someone else complaining about a mark on a shirt (that I obviously missed).:mad: I shouldn't let it bother me but thanks to ebay's rubbish decision to only allow buyers to leave negative feeback I have no way to stand up for myself apart from responding to her feedback, and I think it's hard to phrase it right in a small space without looking like it's hard cheese! But this buyer has completely lied saying that I stated something in the description when I stated nothing of the sort!
I've been selling on ebay since 1999 but I hardly sell anything anymore cos it's really changed in the last couple of years and they are very unfair to small sellers. The buyer is not always right - the buyer is sometimes an idiot!!!
Rant over. Sorry about that.
Anyway, I haven't really looked at the weekend list yet as I was just finishing off Thursday and Friday's lists:
Thursday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing - done!! :j

Well we're back and we've had a good time so now I suppose I ought to do something here.
I've put some washing on the line and now I can iron the washing I brought in off the line before I went out or do some tidying up.
