i "tried" to purchase this yesturday when it turned up..when reaching the basket stage, it stated it was an 18 month contract..

i emailed the link using the address at the contact us page.,..it didnt recognise the address...

anyone have any luck?

I phoned them yesterday and they said it is definately a 12 months contract. If you buy it online then when you receive the phone it will be on the 12 month contract and not 18 month

yes its definatly a 12 month contract have ordered 2 will post more on how it goes

asma, can i ask what tariff you bought them on?as it seems the 12 month only applies to the 1100 tariff..

am really interested in the deal(been keeping an eye out on the link for a while) so would like to take advantage of the offer, but only if it is 12 month on the 700 tariff...

Definitely 12 months on both. I ordered mine yesterday VTT1100 10months free, remaining 2 months £45pm. Double minutes and texts free for first 3 months.

Not convinced I'm going to receive this as the offer seems too good.

EDIT : These are NOT brand new phones but, refurbished clearance offers.
EDIT 2 : I have just re-checked my order confirmation and it states 12 MONTH contract.

i note that you called the link to query the offer, but i have a slight doubt as to whether the other person in the may have got it wrong.

i dont want the worst case scenario where by i purchase on vid talk and text 700, only to find out that it is indeed in fact 18 month contract as opposed to 12.

yes i could return it with the cooling off period, but id rather make sure first before purchase.

you purchase the "1100" tariff. i believe that the link are offering 10months free on that tariff as it would generate more revenue for 3 the company, a more profitable tariff maybe?

i dont think the "700" tariff will be 12 month one..as i see it a pretty much top notch handset(albeit clearance) and a good tariff and especially it being on "12month" contract..leads me to believe its a little too good to be true..what do people think?
