you know what loupee - I would start a thread on that and get some advice. There are some excellent DFW peeps who are really hot on that kind of thing who aren't regulars on the chat.

Customers. As soon as I put 'closing down' up they were round me like a load of vultures.
Some are trying to knock me down on stuff, others are assuming that if it's got a sticker on it was dearer last week!

That's the nature of the beast Bookie, everyone's after a bargain at the moment.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.

Bookie I always feel bad when I have bought stuff in a closing down sale - taking advantage of someone else's misfortune. I have even said as much to the shopkeeper.

I'm going to make a huge pot of chilli today. My assorted beans have been soaking overnight and I have 2lbs of minced steak, peppers, onions, carrots and lovely tomatoes to add.
Might bung it all in the slow cooker.

I guess it's partly the result of MSE and the lessons on haggling etc which have made lots more people want a bigger discount.

I was going to suggest you popped a thread on grabbit if you need to shift as much stock as possible, but I don't think you can promote your own business.
