    how long do or should you keep copies of bills and statements for?

    7 years for a business.
    Domestic ones are personal choice but it is always the one before the one you have that you want! I usually go for a year but I do put all my accounts onto a computer.

    oh god - i'm not that organised!!! lol... i have a habit of just shoving the envelope into a mass on my bookcase!!

    so, 12-18 mths should be ok?

    IIRC you sent him a letter one time, and he successfully ignored that.

    Aldi, Lidl, Netto etc are great if you make them the first shop you go to, then use Tesco AsDa etc to top up your basket with the stuff they don't stock.
