I can't wait for christmas...soooooooooooo excited.
I did movie hampers last year for people and they went down well - better than just handing over a dvd on it's own.
Also if anyone is doing hampers, the best hampers I've done are ones where everything is the same colour, I've done a pink and a gold one and they looked fab.
I did an organic foods hamper too one year and used a wooden fruit crate I got free from my local fruit shop, it looked the part xx0 -

For anyone doing hampers I noticed in Pound world today Nicki Clarke hair stuff, they had about 6 or 7 different products, would make a nice hair styling hamper with a few brushes and accessories in too.

Before the end of July I plan to sort out the present cupboard, its a bit of a mess at the moment. Make an inventory so I don't miss out using the bargins I've already bought. I also need to make a list of who we are giving presents to and any ideas. Probably need to replace the scissors and sellotape as know doubt OH has used them and not put them back. Would like to sort the cupboard ASAP, but need to find an time when the children aren't about.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

wish I had pressie cupboard!! Mine are in boxes above my wardrobe! My loft hatch is too small to get anything up there!
Bought an 8ft trampoline from a great deal with additions and only paid £61.50 with enclosure and that is kept at work.
Have the asda vouchers offer when they were selling for £5, got some hair cut ones and photoshoot ones and a makeover one I think so sisters will like them (I hope!)
Need to do a list of who else I need to buy for and what things I have already.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

When does everyone make their xmas cake? I make mine in September (actually I make 2, the real one and the one we call the tester;)) and then I feed it with brandy every couple of weeks. It probably ends up more alcohol than cake by December:rotfl:0

do they have cars? I made my cousin (about the same age) a car washing hamper for Christmas. We don't usually buy presents but he was there on Christmas day. I didn't have a clue what he likes/dislikes but thought this would be something he could use. Got most of it from Wilkinsons.saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Enjoying the thread - not wanting it merged with the Jan one as although I get my cards, wrapping paper in Dec/Jan I dont really start thinking about buying presents until now i.e. summer sale time. Reason is I am usually waiting until June has gone. That is the month when most of my family's birthdays are and it is expensive. There are more scattered through the year but I can concentrate more on CHRISTMAS!!All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0
