    Oh brilliant!
I was thinking the other day- I must check and see if anyone has started a thread!!

I got a couple of bits in the Boots New year sale and have been collecting bits & pieces.
I have 24 people to buy for, not including my hubby & son (4 of the 24 are kids and one will be a baby).

    From Boots I have:
    Ruby & Miller Set £4 (RRP £30)
Shave King Set £3 (RRP £15)
Trevor Sorbie Set £2 (RRP £10)

I have a fab necklance & earring set - £3.99 (RRP £19.99) - very funky looking too so will suit the recipient!
Beautiful VIE Trinket Boxes & Note books (£3 - RRP £30) * I do VIE in my spare (ha ha) time.

I will have approx £70 in shop&scan to redeem for vouchers and £70 in tesco vouchers.
Not a bad start but really upping my efforts now, making sure I get all my surveys etc done!

Looking forward to seeing all your organised Xmas bargains and what not!

really glad I can join this thread now!!! :j

I was made redundant 4 months ago and eventhough I love christmas I simply couldnt get myself organised for it due to not having any money. I was preparing myself for just having the money to buy the tree but for-go everything else. I have finally got a job and I can look forward to planning christmas without being filled with terror of not having the money to buy friends/family any presents.

I look forward to keeping up with everyone on thread and I absolutely LOVE christmas

    cheers

For your God daughter, if you have a Home Bargains near you they often have HSM and HM stuff in for really cheap, you could probably get quite a few bits for your budget.

I had planned to take this weekend of from xmas planning and spent the weekend taking the kids to the farm park and zoo, that was until DD decided to seriously injure her ankle on a trampoline yesterday - resulting in our day ending before it started and spending 6 hours in A&E, which has meant i have had to carry her everywhere as she cant walk. So she has been sitting on my knee all day helping me get bits and bobs finished.

I've almost finished most joke presents: 24 pots of gold, 25 boxes joke pills, 10 novelty loo rolls, 12 washer / dryer gifts.

I have wrote a list of how many handmade xmas cards i need (92) - i hate making cards they always end up looking cheap and tacky like a 2 year old has made them but i'm gonna give it a good go and hope i knock out some quality ones.

I have found some great idea's for the men that i couldnt buy for - by trawling through 1000's jokey gadgets and such on amazon - although a few of the items are cheaper elsewhere.

Like a traffic warden voodoo doll for my BIL - who loathes them with a passion after getting a ticket a few weeks back, they do a matching mother - in - law one too. Both me & BIL are not her favourite people.

My mum has asked for a new wheat bag - the ones you warm up in the microwave. I know there cheap enough to buy but i thought i would make her one and found a thread about them on this site:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=304340

I would love to find some me to you fabric to use as she loves these bears, but failing that i can always cross stitch a bear onto it.

Im gonna make her 2 for her pockets as her hands always get cold at work and a big one that will cover the area where she gets most of her pain. I havent sewn since i was at school, so this shall be interesting, lol.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!

  • Yippie - they got a lot of HSM and hannah montana bits in wilko. they had lots of stationary bits that were cheap and they also had some opther toy bits - microphones etc all half price marked down, so should have a look! also there is a website www.thebrilliantgiftshop.co.uk = you pay in installments if get a membership or buy outright. they have hannah montana etc bits, may not be in your budget but will give you a rough price and few ideas so can search online for alternatives.
Also another thought - should try the disney store online - they have sale section with few random bits that quite cheap :o)

claire bear - i would say yes as there is room on the way out....we are taking 3 suitcases - one small filled with our clothes other two for brining things back! so if you can make your own way back?! lol, :rotfl:
we been twice over past two years, lol - addicted! its part of my bday present from my boyf as he brought me MJ concert tickets but well, everyone knows how that ended and only other way be able to compare to how excited i would be would be disney! lol, not very MS i know, but got a good 5 day deal and will get few xmas pressys while there! lol.
:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!

Our little princess born 8th June - she is amazing!! :grinheart
