I am so pleased with what I picked up today in town....

For my teenager sisters hamper (all 3 of each) fluffy socks, nail polish remover, cotton wool balls, shower gel, magnetic photo frame, body spray

For my nan's hamper: Soap, cleanser, toner, John Barrowman CD (she loves him!!), bath bubbles

For my son: Little einsteins rocket & paint your own t-shirt from ELC (had a 20% off voucher to use by next week), BOGOF books in WHSmith, some books in The Works

Some sweets for my retro sweetie boxes (6 for £2 in tesco - long sell by dates too)

4x baskets for my hampers - Au Naturelle (20% off sale)

Not doing too bad so far - getting very excited, much to the dismay of my other half!!!!!!!!

Having some trouble finding the retro sweetie tubs though, have looked in Tesco (I had seen some in here a little while back!!), pound shop, pound stretcher, wilkos. I've seen lots with screws/nails in, will try Maplin next. Ebay seems a tad expensive.

    xx

Didnt see any Christmas cards in Card Factory where I prefer to get them as they are usually 59p each but will keep a look out as I would rather get them out of the way first.

Went to Matalan to try and get a few bits for kids for Christmas but they didnt have what I wanted in the sale, so not doing too well at the moment lol

Does anyone have any ideas of what to put in a space themed hamper.

My son has seen me xmas crafting so decided to give me his xmas list today.

My DF said give him an empty box and say there you go its full of space - but i think that would be a bit cruel.

Hahaha can you imagine the look on his face if he opened that?!

How about the free name a star thing, buy a plot of land on the moon, a build your own telescope kit, astronaut food, books about space and astronomy, glow in the dark stars and planets to stick on his ceiling/walls, maybe promise to take him to a planetarium if there's one in your area?

    HTH :)

which is way cheaper than ELC and it's personalised. We have no idea where we are going to hide it for 6 months, maybe at granny's house. We also got some little personalised cutlery sets for the little ones to go in their hampers and nappy cakes.
