Thanks, I think they look gorgeous with simple one coloured decorations, mine would be silver and pink but I only have a few 'one off' decorations that are really special, I think it would need bulking up a bit and don't want to go overboard on the pink. Silver might be nice though, the baubles I saw were black and silver mixed with lots of different types so might just get them and then if the black looks silly then just use the silver ones. It's only a fiver for a 4 foot tree so will probably give it a go
Thanks for coming out of hiding for the advice

I have now finished my Christmas shopping. I have to make snowman soup and looking for a clear box to make a retro sweet box for my nephew then thats it. I am sooo happy. Im sure I wont be able to resist the bargains that I find but its not too bad as 2 of my nieces have birthday early January. I have saved loads due to all the bargains listed on this site but I still havent got the hang of a MSE. Maybe next year Ill stick to my budget.0

I made 13 Christmas cards last night
I say every year that I'm going to make all my cards but then I usually leave it too late and only get a few made, so I'm really pleased I've started now. Hopefully I'll get loads made over half term. I've also done 4 cross stitch ones that just need putting into a card, so that's 17 really
I'm going Christmas shopping again today, I get excited every time! I'm hoping to have pretty much finished all my shopping by the end of half term, or at least got all the big things. We're going to ToysRus today as I've seen a lovely little desk and chair set that is half price. I hope they've got some left!Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -

I thought I was doing quite well but I'm still stuck on presents for my nephews (20, 17, 14). (I have another nephew of 11 but I've done his presents.)
I don't see them very often which doesn't help, I spoke to my sister and she said didn't really know either (the oldest 2 don't live with her). She suggested clothes for the 20 year oldand said the 14 year old was really into his x box.
I would suggest www.play.com for that age group - I use it for my brother and my friends son who are both in their early 20's and they always love their presents.
They do cool t-shirts, gadgets, hats, belt sets, etc for £5 so you'll have plenty of choice. Maybe you could get a hipflask for the older one?
They do a number of xbox games for between £4.99 - £9.99 if your sister didn't actually specify a game
Also, it is free delivery on everything so you don't have to commit to buying loads from the site if you want to check the quality first0 -
