Princess your little girl is beautiful! cant believe all the babies coming into the world at the moment - my friend has just found out she is having a little boy in middle november.....and when i say just i mean last week finding out! Crazy or what?!
i just got myself a nice selection of £1land 'pure' range! thanks for everyone who said about it being botanics stuff! got 5 different bits, was looking for ages make sure didnt miss anyhting; facial mask, face moisturiser, bath soufflee, body cream, scultping cream too. got 3 lots of each, so that is 3 friends birthday bits almost sorted, need got 3 diaries for each, a bath puff and some earings, seen some diaries already, but going to wait till few more come out as they are all very specific in the lay out they like!
I not 100% sure who was looking for cups for their movie night hampers, but i found on a party website they sell lots of movie style bits; red white stripped etc. they have paper popcorn bags too - might be worth buying if doing few hampers!

I love this thread so much...thanks for the all the fantastic ideas!
I have made a good start on bits and pieces for my hampers. Have got loads of bits for 30p-40p in Tesco reduced bit for my gardening hampers.
Am making one of my aunts an 'afternoon tea' hamper with little pots of jam, a nice spoon, some tea and today I picked up a really lovely brand new cup and saucer at a car boot sale for £1.
Doing my other aunt a correspondence hamper, so far got 3 lovely sets of notelets from The Works and a 2010 diary, going to add a novelty pen and a book of stamps, possibly some other stuff along the same theme if I come across anything.
So nice feeling organised and full of ideas for everyone, can't wait to start putting all the hampers together properly.
We are off to Leeds next week to visit family so get to visit Home Bargains, Primark and lots of other shops that we don't have close to where I live!0 -

Glad you like it, the cards are got from The Works are £1.99 for a pack of 12 but they are BOGOF, and they had lots of nice designs to choose from. I know my aunt is going to love it as she writes lots of letters to people.0 -

I can beat that one: the cousin of a good friend (who is petite and a size 6-8) got terrible backache the day her and her family were supposed to be going on holiday. She went to the airport but was in such agony that she decided not to fly. A friend took her to the hospital, where the doctors tried to find the source of the problem. Several hours later they pronounced her pregnant and due to have the baby within the next few days! The girl was shocked beyond belief as she had no idea whatsoever, and had even kept having her periods etc., and the only sign had been her backache which was due to the fact that the baby was tucked up inside her and sitting on her spine, which was what caused the ache. She had the baby when her whole family were still on holiday. Can you imagine the looks on their faces when they got back?!
I just would not believe that story if her cousin hadn't told it to me herself.
(Sorry, that has little to do with the thread, but it's such a crazy story I couldn't not tell it!)Please call me 'Pickle'
