Someone has probably answered this but......
with my baskets I wanted to wrap them up. Now wrapping paper is a no no. Does anyone know if you can get christmassy cellophane but NOT clear?? Am off to hobbycraft later today (any MOCS around??) but at the mo - after an e-bay search - think i am gonna have to buy a dark coloured cellohane to wrap them in then wrap again in christmas cellophane (arg this is not money savy!!)
Any other ideas???loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Went to Dunelm this morning and they have plastic storage boxes with clip lid, approx 14" x 12" x 10" for £2.50. Also had bigger ones for (I think about £4.50) I'm going to get DIL one and fill it with toiletries and pampering stuff and then she can use it afterward for storing some of her (numerous:rolleyes:) shoes.0 -

For a Golden Wedding aniversary present I sprayed the wrong side (if you get my drift) of some clear cellophane (Mine had come off a bunch of flowers I'd received) with gold paint spray. I did 2 light coats and it looked fine. I suppose this is only a money saver if you already have the paint(I'm a crafter so I did but I have seen gold spray at the 99p and £1 shops on the run up to Xmas)

In case anyone needs a top-up in a movie hamper, The Times are doing a dvd of the Shawshank Redemption free in the paper tomorrow. I will be getting one for my Dad - he mentioned a few weeks ago it was one of his favourite films. He wont mind that its only a newspaper version either - after all its the film you want not the case!!Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I have bought 5 money cards and envelopes from Card Factory. I don't know if I will use them all BUT last year when I decided I needed two I couldn't find them anywhere inexpensive...
They are 29p each but 5 for a pound...
If I don't use them all this year they will keep no problem.
I would suggest that people looking for DVDs for hampers try Help the Aged. Obviously selections will vary but I find they are very reasonably priced. Our local one has LOADS of A Series of Unfortunate Events books on tape (the whole set I should think) and lots of other talking books reasonably priced...
Last year I got my son a Tiddlywink Croquet set from Oxfam as a stocking filler and at what I would consider a stocking filler price!
