  • Has anybody had any experience using i4vegas.com to book their hotels?
    Are they a trustworthy site?
    Thanks inadvance.

They are a trustworthy site, but many hotels have a best-price guarantee, so will match it (or beat it). The exception is sometimes if it's an offer including bonus items/freebies - sometimes the hotel will say it's not the exact same thing so won't honour it. What hotel are you looking at?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Dont want a cheap cheap hotel but dont want overally expensive if you get my drift.

What sort of price are you looking at? cheap and expensive are relative terms that mean different things to different people. :) All of the main hotels will have a pool or access to a sister property's pool, but they will vary in terms of how nice they are (and how busy they are)...so as pool is likely a given...are there any other things that are particularly important to you?

Originally I was looking at Circus Circus on their site a few weeks back, now the price has increased. Then found Sahara (on Strip) at i4vegas for around $385, checked their site and was quoted at $500. Big saving, hence the query on here about their trustworthyness.

    Hi All,

Well that is it...I'm sat in the Aiport waiting to leave veags, how quick the past 13 nights has gone :( but I have had a fabb time, shame the days just so quick, The stay at Encore, Skylofts, and Ballagio were fantastic and I will fo a full trip report in a couple of days, now all I have to endure is a 10 hour flight home :(

OK, not sure what your dates are (sounds like it may include a busy time as $500 for Sahara is quite expensive assuming a week - perhaps the trip is longer), but have you looked at the specials on Sahara's site?

    http://www.saharavegas.com/specials/

I can't see a best rate guarantee for them, but you could try calling them and asking if they would match i4vegas rate - couldn't hurt anyway, and then you would be able to keep looking for something else closer to your dates.

Looking forward to the report, and sorry you are on your way home but hope you have a safe and quick journey. :)

Are you aware that although on the Strip the Sahara is a LONG way from the popular part of the Strip. It does have a momorail station and there is also the Deuce bus both of which you'd need to pay for.
Between the two hotels I'd choose the Sahara over Circus Circus but on that kind of budget my choices would be Imperial Palace (located bang in the middle of the Strip) the Orleans -just off Strip but with a free shuttle which is a lot quicker than the Deuce would be from CC or the Sahara and better and cheaper resturant choices. Third choice would be the Riviera. The Excaliber also has good prices with a central location.
Really though we need more information as you may be looking too early for a good price.

All together with flights our budget is about £1300. Want a hotel that we dont have to walk to far for everything. Went to florida a few years ago and though we stayed on international drive, the hotel was a long walk from anywhere and just dont want the same again. Hubby wants to play poker some nights so dont want him walking home too far on his own.
