October , NovemberHi Rich - flights are usually available 330 days beforehand, so you'd be looking at probably May 2010 I think.
I'm not sure that that size of a group would be big enough for any discounts, really.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
SeptemberHi Rich
As ferf says, scheduled flights are bookable 330 days ahead so May 2010 for April 2011.
I would be very careful about booking a large amount of people on one booking. Someone is bound to pull out and could muck up your plans.
I'm happy to be corrected, but personally, I would book in blocks of 2-4 people. I think with a package from the likes of lastminute.com that if someone pulled out then there would be an under occupancy to pay by those still going. If you book the flights and hotel separate then the rooms costs the same whether there are 1 or 2 people in it. Obviously if one person pulls out then the person still going will have to pay the full cost of the room.
Bear in mind the travel costs/taxis to get to centre strip if you are considering the Strat or Golden Nugget. You should be able to pick up a deal at the MGM much nearer the time.0 -
MayThanks guys so far...
pull out and all that is easy to contend with, when we book it, they pay, once they have paid they are on board, if they pull out they cover any costs.
Thanks for the info on flights and when available, it appears the prices on lastminute i can't beat for a flight alone! £450 with the hotel and flights is a bargain in my book....we only want a cheap hotel as we won't be in it for long.... think.... "the hangover 2!!!"
Im of the opinion that if I book early rnough for early April I should be able to get the cost down to £400 with flight and hotel per person for Mon - Fri deal.
How many people can you get in a typical las vegas hotel room? 4 people? 2 people in each double bed?

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

SeptemberYes I think 4 is the maximum number of people per room, but you will need to declare that there are 4 in the room if you are booking with the hotel direct. They usually charge for more than 2 people at around $30pp so it could be cheaper/more convenient to have just 2 people in the room.
You also need to consider 4 people sharing a bathroom and the time it will take to get ready.0 -
MayYEah thats cool, sharing a bathroom, done that loads of time, been out to europe about 5 times as a bigger group of people etc!
LOL @ Hangover comments - funny as film though!!!!!
If lastminute lets us book 4 people per room I aint complaining, will just share 2 double beds0 -

Anytime I've read about anyone paying to hire a fridge it's been about $10/day. Some say if you have a word with housekeeping and offer a decent tip you might get lucky and get it for no charge. If you need it for medication, there normally is no charge. You'll see people suggesting to lie and say that's why you need it even if you don't. Personally, I can't see doing that...karma can be an evil thing.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
