December ( including Xmas and New Year )I hope he's there for awhile...really would be cool to see him. Looking forward to hearing the outcome of the press conference.
Dont know if you saw the press conference.
He will be there for next 5 years, 15 weeks a year, with 2 shows on a Saturday, and one show Friday & Sunday.
Tickets all priced at $125 on a first come first served basis for seating.
First few shows go on sale Sat 24th October at 8am0 -
March2 shows on a Saturday seems like overkill0

October , NovemberThanks penny! I saw part of the press conference but not all - I'd heard the 15 weeks thing but wasn't sure how long it was to run, or when tickets were going on sale so appreciate the info.
Will definately keep an eye for our next trip.
As for 2 shows .in one night being overkill, agree that with that small a venue it makes sense. I'd be very surprised if these shows don't sell out very, very quickly for a very long time.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
December ( including Xmas and New Year )Just looking for flights over Xmas......Virgin site and Opodo both £500 to £600. However STA Travel....VS43/44 ....click the box to say you are a student, and it comes up with £396 for students and £420 for not students.
If you dont click the box upfront, you get the standard £500 to £600 fares.
Am I reading this all right?illegitimi non carborundum0 -
Update on packing list, I also picked up a foldable laundry bag for our dirty washing, I always forget about this and it annoys me.
Anyway got one from Poundland....it was one pound before anyone asks...:rotfl:.
I'll also take some washing tablets so if we get a chance we can get some washing done as we go along. I'm not a clean freak but its so much nicer to come home with clean stuff, means less work when you get back.
Also got this today as it looked quite funny and useful to use.
What washing tablets are you taking?
hahaha0 -

Don't be fooled.
I checked for the dates I am travelling (15th Nov - 28th Nov) and they too came up to £353.50!! (£100.00 cheaper than Netflights)
I telephoned STA and asked for a quote and they were saying £489.00!
I explained that the website was reporting £353.50 - why the difference? The advisors reply was that the prices online show EST (estimated taxes). When you actually click through to the next page, you will see the actual total, which is MUCH higher.0 -
Just trying to book a trip for next year, flight prices for July are pretty high right now so we are looking at alternative dates that fit in with 3 of us and are considering mid-April.
We want to do a bit of poolside sunbathing whilst we are there. Is April a bit cool for this and does it get a bit chilly at night?0 -

Yes I found that out too!!! "Not much of an estimate" I said. She tried lying to me by saying the taxes were higher over Xmas and weekends when I was flying. "Youre trying to tell me that the Government has differential passenger taxes depending on when youre flying?". "Yes" she said "and the airline charges a higher fuel surcharge over Xmas and weekends". And I had already entered my dates before the so called estimated taxes were displayed.
Liars or just plain dumb and untrained? You decide.illegitimi non carborundum0
