I just called US Airways to check a few things out with regards to IFE, luggage etc. It may help someone in the future.

    Luggage - 2 checked bags - 23kg each + 1 carry on - 18kg max + 1 personal item (laptop etc.)

I pre-booked seats for 3 of our 4 flights, (left this too late) she couldn't do our connection from Philly - Vegas but went for middle seat & aisle seat as plane is 3-3 config. She says I may be able to get emergency exit seats if I turn up early.

IFE - movies Glasgow - Philly - Glasgow - went into site & it's 1 each way in economy - says on demand movies areavailable but cross that bridge when we come to it.

It says on the site that power points are available for laptops but an adaptor is needed - can any of you guys help with this?

I'm starting to rabble now - enough I need to go an pack - getting uptight at the thought of the flights

    Ta much

I looked at an airline adaptor a wee while ago, but I thought it was pretty expensive and didn't need one anyway as the flight we were one didn't have power points in economy.

If you know the type of plane you are on you can check if there is a power point at your seat on https://www.seatguru.com

Here's the info on power point with links re adaptors

** Edit - Are we still on for a meet?

Sure, Hows about Ellis Island or fireside lounge at Peppermill at 7-8pm
Lets have a list of all those available, at the moment we have Stoneman, Luci, davidmcg2u. Anymore? We are there between 16th and 24th.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Yeah that sounds ok - not really sure where it is though but I'm sure we'll find it ok.

If it's too busy I have no issues heading into the arena for drinks anyway.

I was trying to find somewhere in the area with reasonable drinks prices. I'm afraid it galls me to pay $15 for a drink when I can get them free while gambling!

$15 - that's what it was like when we went into Revolution at the Mirage to "kill time" before we went into see Love.

We could always just head into MB & gamble - probably never get a drink though on Saturday night especially with the fight being on the same night - all be it at the MGM.

As it stands just now my clothes are lying in a pile on my bed - think I might just go for the 2 x 23kg + the 18kg (only kiddin!)

What about, we meet up at !!!!!!'s (I'm sure I read that their drinks prices are reasonable, at least compared to most placed in Vegas), suss the place out and if it's not suitable we can move onto MB.
