Does anybody have any suggestions for hotels for me - We're only staying for 1 night in October, but because it falls on a Friday most of the strip hotels are wildly overpriced. We are working to a budget of around £60-£70 per night on our trip and dont want to go over this.

A hotel off the strip but reasonably close to it would be fine, but i've spent the best part of a month trying to find somewhere suitable and am getting close to the end of my tether!!
Which Friday in October is it?

I'm off to Vegas for 5 nights at the end of the month, and staying at the Staybridge Suites over the weekend due to the cost of strip hotels. It's very modern, and rooms are more like apartments. You'll get a night there for less than $100...just within your budget?

The most positive thing is it's ranked number 1 of 293 Vegas hotels on TripAdvisor. Out of 73 reviews, 69 have marked it either very good or excellent.

So if being slightly off-strip isn't a problem, I reckon you cant really go wrong with the Staybridge Suites!

HiI've just completed my order for restaurant.com and this message popped up. So a bit of a wait - not surprising at these prices.

I'd keep an eye on the Orleans and Gold Coast (they both have a good free shuttle to the Strip runs every 15 minutes) over your budget at the moment but prices WILL drop-I've never paid more than $100 usually between $60-80 at the Orleans for a weekend night even when it was showing $160 a few weeks ahead. If you find them cheaper on another site book direct and they'll price match-and if it drops after you've booked they'll match it again.

Another option could be the Sahara-right up the far end of the Strip but with its own monorail station which makes it really fast and easy

Imperial Palace Hot Deals rates looks like they are within your budget. Not stayed there myself, but a lot of people here like the place a lot - it's not posh, but many think it's just fine.

A deluxe room with tax will be slightly over budget for you, but a classic room would come in at or under budget. Avoid the capri rooms from what I understand.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Hi, we have booked 2 deluxe rooms at the Imperial Palce through Netflights.com and paid £437 for the 8 nights we are there so that seems the best deal by a country mile.

    Hope this helps.

Also, what restaurants would people recommend ordering the vouchers for?

I'd go with this deal too. $105 for the 9th of October and it's smack bang in the middle of the strip. Not stayed there myself, but my parents have and they had a great time. The Casino decor reminds me a lot of an old Bond movie.
