    Hi all,

More questions! Flying out on Sunday and we'd like to catch some shows while over there. Want to do Jersey Boys, Terry Fator and the Beatles Love show.

What pebbles said re Love is very true - you really do not want to be in the expensive seats...first time we went we were front row and it was a great show but as we were leaving and got to the top of the stairs and turned back - we both looked back and said 'wow!' We really couldn't take in the overall spectacle of the show from where we were. Have since seen it from about 1/2 way back and much, much better experience. I personally think that the cheapest seats would be better than the most expensive. It's not that big of a venue.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Hi all,

More questions! Flying out on Sunday and we'd like to catch some shows while over there. Want to do Jersey Boys, Terry Fator and the Beatles Love show. Also trying to persuade my better half to go see Barry Manilow but I think she is worried that her image will be tarninshed forever if her friends fine out :p

I've seen Jersey Boys is 99$ for ochestra seats on a recent offer which seems good as these are the best seats (apparently)

In other peoples' experiences is it best to pre book any of the shows I've mentioned or just try to get a bargain when I get there. I don't think the half price tickets booth sells tickets for those shows or at least it's not on their site and I don't want to miss out as it's a once in a lifetime chance for some of them for me :D

Thanks again for all the advice so far everyone!

When I was there in March I went to the box office to get Terry Fator tickets and while I was there I asked if they had any deals for Love if I booked at the same time and I managed to get a nice discount. So its well worth asking the question.

Yup we had the cheap seats and it was fine......its in the round so always not that far from the stage.

And as a moneysaving alternative to seeing Jersey Boys, why not just go up and down the lifts in the Venetian for an hour or two.....I think most of the songs are on the lift muzac CD.

For $48 bucks most nights, stay at MGM rather than the not so nice places like Excalibur and Imperial Palace and the like. Or even Luxor for $38.

My dates cover the weekend and MGM gets a bit pricey, staying there the last 2 nights though

Not sure if this has been posted before so apologies if it's a duplicate, but Goldstar also has Blue Man Group for about 35% off before fees. $65.11-$89.20

It's all a matter of personal taste but I'd stay at Excalibur over MGM or Luxor - haven't stayed at MGM but no real interest (too big a property - we found Caesars to be a pain to get anywhere from) and Luxor was OK, but we preferred Excalibur.
