The Desert Lake Shooting Club was closing a couple of months back, but looks like it may be saved from extinction and reopen under a new name in September

Tom at shooting safaries told me this as well. He said the guy that owned it wanted more money for the rent and the club were not prepaired to pay the extra. He said that if that happened he would have to fold his business
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Has anyone used carhire3000 before and had good/bad experiences? Found an excellent deal that includes young driver surcharges which saves a bundle! But not used them previously.
used last year. easily the cheapest and if needed would use again.

we always tip $1 each to the girl handing out towels...it's in the tipping guides so it's what we do...no idea if most people do or not. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Not me, but then again you probably guessed that;) Never ever seen anyone tip for being handed a towel.
I wonder who writes these "tipping guides". Answers on a post card please.

We've never tipped for this, and tbh like stoneman i've never seen anyone tip either. I never realised you were supposed to.

yeah ive never tipped the towel attendant, probably wouldnt unless they point out a sunbed or help out
1 week to go now! just finnished my packing
decided on suit as hey, nice to dress up to go to the shows

deciding when to try the 20$ trick now, will for palazzo and mbay prob not bother for mgm as it seems they just offer west wing
do you thnk though as my rooms are part of a package (eg phanotm.lion king tickets) that would reduce my chance of an upgrade?
anyone tried 20$ trick for car hire once having already pre payed with netflights

We've never tipped the person handing out the towels by the pool, it's never occurred to me and I don't know why as it seems that in the US, if it moves, tip it.

However I was wondering if we should tip at the Four Seasons as, apparently, they dish out water, cucumber slices and frozen fruit. If we should then how much would be appropriate?

I'm saying me, but it's really hubby as I very rarely go to the pool and if I do it's for less than half an hour.

Its simple. Tip as and when you feel necessary. Tip good service, don't tip bad service. No-one should be tipped unless they provide you with good service. Tip cocktail waitresses when they bring free drinks, that way you get a better/quicker 2nd drink.
