OH usually wear smart trousers or jeans and a shirt or polo shirt depending on which show/restaurant we are going to. I felt we should dress up more to see O than to see Terry Fator for example.

The only time he has worn a suit in Vegas is when he bought one in the Forum Shops and couldn't wait to try it out so he wore it for my birthday dinner at Mon Ami Gabi!

  • Hi,
Looking forward to my second Vegas trip in October.
Do any of you guys have experience of Los Angeles Airport?
I am flying into LAX arriving at 14:35 and have then booked SouthWest flight at 16:50 to LAS.
Assuming the flight into LA is on time, do you think I have allowed enough time between flights?
I also have to get from Terminal 2 to T1.
Would I be better off changing to a later flight - next one would be 6 PM.

    Thanks in advance

we spent an hour waiting at immigration at LAX , but it could be quick and easy for you . . LA to Vegas there must be plenty leaving each hour , but if you have booked the 2 legs independant of each other , then you might be in trouble if you miss your connection .

PS feel like a bit of a fool asking about the expedia.co.uk thing now. expedia.ie only did hotels the last time I checked about 3-4 months ago

Yes and very nice it is too . if you have a car you will have no issues about getting about . if you need to get up the strip @ night use the Deuce or a Taxi .

Location is a issue for some , but for us it was a great stay , as we like Mandalay Bay as a place to hang out late at night when we had been up the strip earlier .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

That should be enough time although may be a little bit of a squeeze. Immigration will be your slowest point, just try and beat the rest of the plane coming through and you may get ahead a bit. Make sure the form is filled in on the plane correctly and you join the right immigration queue. Immigration was slow when we went so allow about an hour. Luggage was waiting the other side for us once we got through immigration however and then its pretty plain sailing.

Terminal 2 and terminal 1 are next to each other so just a case of walking out one terminal, down the path and into the next. http://www.airport-la.com/info/terminal_map.html

Thanks for this, it may come in handy. What do people make of this show?

It's a very good show, especially if you like Beatles music.

First Cirque shown i've seen and really enjoyed it, the music is good and so is the spectacle, just don't try to follow the story....

Certainly wetted my appetite to see more of their shows.
