Vik6525, I'm so jelous of your Birkin bag aslong with all the other things you have mentioned! Would you like to adopt me?! :D

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Do you want to know something REALLY bad?

My Birkin is HUGE, its the largest size they come in. Its completely impractical for everyday use, so....

I use it as my gym bag!

I cart my scruffy smelly gym gear round in it!
You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

    *I have done reading too*
*I have done geography as well*

Most expensive thing I own would be my wedding dress and at £600 it's probably not that expensive compared to many (but I lurve it and it made me fantastic :D)
Next would be a dress bought from House of Fraser (can't remember name of the retailer - some triple barrelled name) for £62 in the sale. I love it, its not black and I've worn it for a xmas do and a wedding.
Everything else is probably just cheap!

When Littlewoods was closing down in my area I bought a black sheepskin fashion flight jacket style coat. For £95.

I wore that for 5 or 6 years when it was cold enough :)

Twas the warmest and yet the most stylish warm winter coat I've ever owned. I could go to clubs v warm but only wearing a vest underneath! Check it into the cloakroom and know you'll be the warmest on the long way home :) It made a great impropmtu blanket when staying over at mates :) The only thing was I needed to wear a scarf - so I got to accessorise too :)

Sadly it's only fit for bonfire night wearing now but probably got it down to 20p per wear or less before I retired it :rotfl:

I think the most expensive item I have in my wardrobe is a Dior mac which I bought while working in LA 2yrs ago, I think it was $1,750 its lovely but havent wore it since the first time, should really think about wearing it though lol

I have 2 Louis Vuitton handbags, bought for me by a very generous, now ex b/f which started me on designer bags, cant catch glowgirl on the bag front but I have a Chanel, 2 Gucci, and a Fendi as well

I think the most expensive thing I have is my Mulberry Rio Jemma, which should have been about £800 and it was reduced to £200. Weighs a ton though. I've got six others, including a Roxanne tote, but they were all bought on sale as well.

Got a few pairs of expensive shoes, incl Gina, Prada and Jimmy Choo, think the Choos were the most expensive, and a vintage Hermes scarf.

Other than that, probably the most expensive thing is my Rolex Tudor watch (Rolex's cheaper range of watches) which I think was around £350 second hand from Goldsmiths.

If you consider the full price - the most expensive item ( excluding jewellery) I have is probably the Mulberry bag. Retail is £597 but I bought it for less than half price at the factory outlet ( it's in Shepton Mallet if anyone is passing through the West Country )

I virtually never buy full price though - I have an extensive collection of shoes and work wear, all bought in the sales. Today I bought a Jaeger suit - reduced from £320 to £148. Still a lot of money but it is classic and I will get a lot of wear out of it. Cheap suits from Autonomy seem to look shabby very quickly.

I have a pair of Bally loafers that I bought 20+ years ago that I still wear. They were an outrageous amount of money to me then but have outlasted countless cheaper shoes.

I do spend the money on the basics but use cheap high fashion accessories to keep up to date.
