FairyShazza, they are just gorgeous! May I ask where you got them?

Bitter and Twisted has posted the link :)

The dresses are from Vivien of Holloway - I love all of her dresses and am currently lusting after about three of them. I bought the yellow one on Saturday to wear to a wedding we are attending in Italy at the end of this month, can't wait to show it off.

Best of all if you pay by cash in their shop in Camden you get a 10% discount on all of their dresses ;):D

Like a few others, my biggest mistakes have generally been cheaper items...thank goodness for ebay!

That is definitely the case with me. The items that are stuffed to the back of my wardrobe after having only been worn once are all cheap items. I guess when I buy expensive items I really put a lot of thought into whether I really want it and also spend ages checking the quality of the fabric and sewing in the shop (I am sure the shop assistants must just love me!).

I haven't got any hugely expensive items. My shoes all tend to be in the £60-100 range as I have dodgy feet and cheap shoes are just agony for me. I have a few handbags in the same price range. I do use most of them, but I do have a Butler and Wilson one that is beautiful but I have never used. I have not yet found a situation where it would be suitable!

If I win the lottery top of the list will be a Hermes bag.

2 pairs of tall Ugg boots (I paid £136 with discount codes, RRP £170)
    Monsoon dress £130

I have a few designer items, and got some great bargains from sales and TK Maxx, eg a Pringle handbag from £150 down to £29.99 (had seen it at full price).

I shop anywhere though; I have some Asda clothing to go with the Armani. :D

Mine was a Karen Millen dress, spent £150 for my uni graduate and never wore it again. Sold it on eBay for £22 and was completely gutted it went for so little! Oh well.

Other than that, my Office knee high flat black leather boots (£80), black leather flats with bows on from Aldo (£50), and my slouchy tan leather bag from Fossil (£120, bought for me by my lovely mum as a 'congrats on your new job' present!)

I can't recall the MOST expensive, but as a massive Irregular Choice fan, I have almost 300 pairs of them, which have almost all been ebay finds - some bargains, some pretty expensive - most of them worn, and the few pairs that I haven't worn have been ebayed..Also have a bit of a thing for 50s dresses and prom dresses, so a lot of those have been expensive with little chance of wearing them in the future..most recent being £100 from Warehouse in Dec, and then £120 in Fifi Wilson in London, in Jan. I'm awful for shopping, total shopaholic. Also my Radley signature bag was about £200, but being one of the Xmas Limited Ed's I only use it December time.

The Gazelle adores Vivienne Westwood, and has:

One Pair of Hammerhead Shoes, Cherry Red and White £365
One Chaos top, Stripped Velvet £265
    One Leonard Peilter T-Shirt £265
Vivienne Westwood tartan Wallets from £110

Other staples in wardrobe are generally lots more shoes, Gucci, Paul Smith, Louis Vuitton trainers at £335 (never worn), DKNY Jeans, Armani Tops and Jeans, and it simply has to be ARMANI with an I, and not with a Y, also Versace, I hate Prada.............so yesterday!

I am astounded by some of these posts (but v. jealous of the designer wardrobes! :o). Do you ever add up what you've spent on clothes and accessories??? And does it make you wince?

I always shudder when I remember Carrie in SATC working out that she'd spent £40,000 on shoes (well, Miranda had to do the sums for her :rotfl:). I will never forget the look on her face. That was the day I stopped buying anything full price. Thanks, SJP!

I loved that, I'm so like that..If I ever figured out, well..do the sums..300 pairs of shoes, probably more like 350 now..times the cost of an average pair of shoes..blah

I can add to this now... Just bought an outfit for my mum's wedding (well, she bought it for me!) - A LK Bennett dress (£140) and some Dune shoes (£95). So beautiful!

I loooooove them! :T I didn't know this place existed but I do now!

I am so going to use that shop as an incentive to lose some weight and treat myself to some new clothes!

As for the most expensive thing in my wardrobe now, I'm not sure. I've paid £200 for a suit (jacket and 2 x trousers) but don't often pay over £100 for anything else. I have collected several evening dresses over the years but all were bought in sales, and none cost more than £100 (I once managed to get three simultaneous discounts on a full-price dress, taking it down from £120 to under £80 :D)
