I think men are pretty simply but they confused trying to second guess women and just end up looking silly - it would be sooo much better if they just said 'oh yeah sorry I dont fancy you' but they worry we'll get all upset or cry so they try to be gentle - which in a blokes book is ignoring you and hoping youll go away...

    Comforting.... :p;) :rotfl:

You're right though, the truth hurts, but lies hurt more.

The very confusing thing though is that he ISN'T ignoring me - he's the one that makes first contact, except for this morning when I texted first, purely because I was starting to feel a bit rude always expecting him to make the first move, and wondered if that was maybe making him think I wasn't interested. He's been perfectly nice, there have even been hints about seeing each other again (but no hint that it would be in a 'relationship' sense - could just as easily have been meant 'as mates').....but he's just......different.

Right, I have stewed, dwelled and stressed over this for far too long. If I mention him again, unless it's to say it's all sorted or all over, please tell me to shut up.

I spoke to a friend today and told her about me n Big W... (Louise, it was pauline who you met on saturday...) She said "oh dear, are you okay" i said "oh yeah, i'm fine" She said "well thank !!!! for that cause you were too good for him"

So what i needed to hear!

Snags - dare i say this, oh what the hell.... y'know me!
Is it so bad to be on your own anyway? Stop investing so much time and energy in finding the next bloke, what's for you won't go by you, as my granny always said!

says me who's been single for ooooh 48hours for the first time in 17years! lol!

remind me i said that again in 2 months!

I think if he wasn't interested, he wouldn't want to meet again - I don't think men do the shag and then meet up as mates bit so soon after first meeting someone so perhaps he is just having a mare of a day and tonight will give you the attention you deserve and didn't want to sound as if he wasn't focused on a conversation with you whilst he is at work.

it's a good job i don't have any mega urgent speedy jobs to do this afternoon. What little I am doing is being done bit by bit!

Next job.......check usb stick for tonight. It's on its last legs and the last time I did this session wasn't playing ball when I stuck it in the lappy.

I might take you up on that offer please Maz :D Mine literally fell apart -the casing - and now it's not always connecting when I put it in the laptop.

I put very little stuff on my stick I just really use it for sticking presentations on for some of the non-cookery classes I teach.
