No witty openers today, but what a novelty for me to open the chat...!

sods law someone will be doing it as i type and we'll end up with 2!!

Strange night last night, erin was tired and emotional but still not been told about me n her dad (splitting up for anyone who's missed earlier instalments)...... but she definitely knows something is wrong....

anyway she went to sleep in the bed with him, so i left her there and slept in her bed... i think of the 3 of us i got the best sleep. She was bridget the fidget from wrigglytown by all accounts.......
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Morning Maz, Pap, and all who follow... :)

Maz I read your post about the first house - if they agree to the lower rent I'd go for a it. It doesn't have to take much to make a place homely and you'll spend less on that than you would on a higher rent, longer-term.

Not sure what to do with myself today, take DS swimming maybe, or get in touch with my friend I've not spoken to since weeks ago :( just feel awkward. Hmm.

    Morning all,

BF is off for selection for the army today  so it was another early start 5.30! Knackered already!
And we're moving next week, still tons off stuff to do! Where does the time go?
Kepp your finger crossed for him please, this is something he has wanted for a long time, and he's 28, so it now or never :p

Hope you all have a great day and dont melt :rotfl:

morning all - everyone ready for another day at the furnace??!

Maz - I think the first one sounds good. You'll be able to do what you want with the place and know it will be more personalised and that the LL won't mind. I'd prefer that to somewhere which is already pristine and the LL would refuse me doing anything to make it 'mine'.

I lived in the same house as my ex for about 9 months. It was quite weird in some ways. I moved straight into the spare room and we literally split the bills 50/50. Bizarrely, we'd still go to the supermarket together and we'd buy our own food - put it all in the same trolley and then separate it at the tills. We'd roughly put through half of the joint stuff each - ie loo roll, toothpaste etc. For the majority of the time it worked - we became like 2 people housesharing - we even had separate shelves of the fridge!!!!

I really hope work isn't as manic as yesterday, but I know it will be as this is now the peak time for us and yesterday I kept being called to help with the backlog of people and it was hot, sticky and yack.

Just a quick post as out and about today. Nathan is booked into a creche at 11 for an hour while I do some weights then we're off into Glasgow to get his passport application done (stupid PND means I didn't get the application sent away in time so I'm paying an extra 35 to get it processed in a week - total cost 81:eek: plus 7.50 for photos:eek::eek:
Might be meeting a friend for coffee after that depending on how her day works out. Her brother is getting married on Saturday and apparently her parents are flapping to the max so she's trying to maintain some semblance of order and calming influence:rotfl:

maz - [STRIKE]haven't read back yet but hope the viewings went well. I don't suppose Big G/B/C has relented yet?[/STRIKE] the first house sounds promising - especially if they go for the 450 offer. The references etc is a formality usually - they're just making sure you're likely to be good for the rent so don't stress about it, although that mat be easier said than done:rolleyes:

BB - sorry about confusion re blog. I am going to change link in profile straight after I post this;)

Snags - have you ever considered he might be going through the same as you? Wondering if you like him after Monday etc - blokes can be just as stressy as women sometimes:rolleyes:

    Morning All

Just got to work and starting the working day off by coming here ;)
I feel really weird today, like I am going to pass out, my head is all lightheaded and I nearly fell out the shower this morning as I lost my balance. Not sure what thats all about.

Maz, Bless Erin, its amazing how they pick up on it. Sooner you can move out and tell her whats going on the better
