It might be easier and cheaper for you to give a local lad a £5 for doing it every fortnight? Or you could do it yourself for nadda...if you can get a free old mower off freecycle?

I've had stuff not come out for over a month before..annoying when you forget about it and end up overdrawn!!

Maz - fingers crossed on the house, sounds like you're getting all sorted out practically...does it come with curtains/blinds or will you need to think about them? I've got a pair of girls curtains that I made, if you need them and they'll fit your windows I'll send them up to you.

Went for a wander along the beach this morning before it got to hot....was bliss, didn't see another human for nearly an hour.

Thanks pooky - i intend to take the curtains that are in the house TBH (living room/bedrooms x 2...... i'll leave the blinds as they are fitted although i do love a black out blind but hey what the heck! i'm feeling magnanimous!

Bookie - good luck for today. Surely he couldn't have said horrible personal things in the letter??? I'd be looking to sue him back for slander or libel or whatever if he did!!!!

    Good luck for the bank!

Maz, lawn mowing is easy, just like vacuuming only a bit heavier! :rotfl:

I thought it was the one thing I wouldn't be able to do, but my lawns are huge and awful, really uneven and wonky, and it's not that bad to do - it's a great 2 hour workout once a fortnight!

    Hehe, thanks for that Maz
Silly boy went without putting money in his phone, so cant call or text to say if gets through the medical, although if he doesnt he'll be on the next train home, so it will be fairly obvious I guess.
Just so excited and nervous, I have absolutely no army connections so everything is a first for me :D

Your sounding really organised Maz, I move house on Monday, and havent done anything! The good news is on Mon the boys are moving everything while I'm at work, so its just a case of of leaving one flat in the morning and going home to a different one! I'm working 7 days a week just now, manic!

    Cant sit still today....

Had a nasty letter from the landlord today calling me all sorts of things. Bit upsetting. Bank appointment at 1pm and then straight to the employment agency.
    Did CV yesterday.
