    Bookie,
Please don't run away-the landlord is tressing because he knows he will probably be hardpressed to get another tenant in the shop and is scared-that has tranmitted into a stroppy letter. Don't take it personally-he wouldnt have if he decided to sell the shop for his own financial reasons. It is business after all. Good luck at the bank, just know that all of us are sitting there with you virtually supporting you x

And thank you, I am having fun xxx

Thanks. He followed up the nast letter with an e-mail saying that he has got someone interested in the shop and if I leave the fittings we might be able to come to an arrangement outside of the legal route!
He also says that I owe him June and July's rent and if he hasn't got it by next week he will sue. I thought I paid in advance - must check.

Ok anyone like to shed some light on this ongoing Claires thing. Just checked my bank now and its still not gone but there is nothing 'hanging' either  Usually it has balance ~ £40 avalible to spend ~ £20 if there is somthing thats come out but not showing your statement. Well today there is nothing (the amounts are identical) and its still not showing on my account  This was purchased on 19/6, its only less than £10 but its wrong that they havent taken it yet... what can I do? Shall I post a new thread in the banks/current accounts sub forum?

I've had stuff not come out for over a month before..annoying when you forget about it and end up overdrawn!!

Maz - fingers crossed on the house, sounds like you're getting all sorted out practically...does it come with curtains/blinds or will you need to think about them? I've got a pair of girls curtains that I made, if you need them and they'll fit your windows I'll send them up to you.

Went for a wander along the beach this morning before it got to hot....was bliss, didn't see another human for nearly an hour.

Well we phoned cats protection yesterday and they said no-one is close eough to come out. She said we could take it to the vat to see if its chipped but they may charge us. She also said that if we try and catch s/he we may scare it. So it looks like we are stuck not knowing what to do. Mum suggests leaflets through peoples doors. Unsure now

The leaflet thing sounds like a good idea - could you check with the vets to see if they would charge for scanning for a chip ?

Not really sure what to suggest PAP - I had a similar thing with an Alliance Pharmacy for a prescription payment back in 2006, it's never appeared to this day
That's not really very helpful, is it ? Sorry PAP :o

    Incredible isnt it?

I could sit here and tell you things that would make you very envious (please bear in mind, my Uncle is VERY wealthy) and whilst they have been HUGELY generous with me, I am not from the 'rich' side of the family, LOL

my family don't have a rich side... just a side without a criminal record!
