    Sure do!!!!!
Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!
  • I would quote this job at £140 for a high-gain aerial fully installed on the chimney feeding the 4 points.

Waiting for someone to write "WHAT A RIP OFF! I COULD DO IT FOR £139.99 !!!" ;)

Round here they are charging £120 minimum for a gable-end installation, plus £50 if they need to go on the roof (because of the extra ladder, time, 2 man job, safety gear etc.)
  • Is that just for the aerial? I know a few companies are charging up to £160 jus for the aerial! now that deffinately is a rip off..

The approximate costs that I quoted are for a typical aerial installed, aligned and cabled to the TV room. Obviously long cable runs, amplifier, and any difficulties encountered, will increase the cost. A typical "Contract" aerial costs about a fiver (trade). Price may be as high as £45 for a super high gain aerial with dozens of elements. £160 is definitely taking the p;ss. And the word is spelt "definitely".

If i was you i would read up on aeirals on here http://www.aerialsandtv.com/index.html and learn alot more than some installers might know if you read up. Bigger aerials not always the best and if you have any issues give that site a email as i did and get advice from someone. They sell aerials etc to install yourself

Also there is no such thing as a digital aerial. An aerial is an aerial.

I have seen 15 year old aerials pick up better signals than new aerials

May i ask what postcode you are in and i can check which aerial you should be getting prices for and which transmitter you need to point to. PM me your postcode area and i can check
