I'm on a promise for some temping, so I should be fairly happy. But I still feel absolutely dispirited. Unemployment is bad if you have a tendency to glumness. At least even a crap job keeps your mind occupied.

Morning guys - today is the last ever time I will have to sign on (well, unless I lose another job :P) and I could not be happier about it - I dont have to put up with the largely uselss staff now :D

    How is everyone doing?

Last time, wa-hey! Are you going to go in with bunting and whistles?

Well done Louise on reaching another milestone. Don't forget to be a total lady when you go in to sign on. I thanked all the staff personally but then I've always behaved like a duchess (a personal steward to show me to my seat, and then a lovely signing on lady who always looked surprised when I asked her how she was and finally my own personal adviser to help me look for a job - how lucky was I?) when I went there and it actually felt good to say goodbye!

Bunnie: you're bound to feel a little nervous still, but I'm sure you're doing fine. As long as you enjoy the work, don't worry - no one is going to expect you to be up to speed after only a few days. :A

Wigglebeena: good for you on the temping. It's certainly better to be "in" a role and doing something plus earning some money. Look at it like a short term stepping stone.

Chica: absolutely, take another day off as it's so nice out there!

In fact, eveyone, have the day off. Job seeking is stressful enough without missing out on the sunshine. Try and make the most of the break you're having while you can.

    Have fun,
    Sackcloth. ;)

Yes, ill be really happy but also really grateful that this hell is over :D

I am always quite nice to all of the staff i encounter there, despite most of them being rude and useless - guess I am more of a lady :D

I haven't heard anything yet. Im a little annoyed today because I went out for an hour thismorning, and when I got back I found that the binmen had left a pile of rubbish infront of the house, the bag must have split or something. Had a pile of rotting veg leftovers, chicken skin and bone and cat litter/poo to clean up when I got back. Also one of the kitties had had an upset tummy in the hallway, so I have had to clean that up. After all the work I did getting rid of fleas yesterday this is how the choose to repay me .

Sackloth: I washed both cat baskets and radiator beds in the washing machine thismorning, I now have white fluff/bobbles everywher from it. I am not having a succsesful house cleaning week.

    Afternoon guys.

Hays got back to me this morning. I have passed the interview and the credit check so now they are just checking my refs. I will not get excited until I have signed a contract becuase I have had trouble with refs in the past.
