Well, thank you for your kindness! I will visit other diaries at the weekend. Time is of the essence this week, I shouldn't really be on here now!
Update, just about to go out to collect orders. as a team in under a week my Shining Stars have done just short of £2K which is fantastic. Christmas is really hotting up the sales now. And I am so grateful for that.
Ebay, getting into this a lot more now. One item Ive put on for 99 p currently has a bid for £7.50 so thats exciting.
Finances are a bit of a strain - Im remindingmyself this is temporarily. All will be well, all is well because I have a plan and am working hard to ensure it works!. Due to call the Halifax later today once Ive transferred money over to make a part payment on my mortgage. Then my next payt so its paid in full will be paid on the 16th November. Then Im upstraight with everyone again. Am so glad I saw through my MBNA Complaint, they have reduced my min payment each month which is very helpful for the time being. I keep telling myself this is a blip. With MBNA payt drop, my outgoings have reduced by £300 or so and I will fully benefit from all those savings this coming month so I need to stay firm and strong, positive and focused, and keep working my plan to ensure I get ahead of myself and the New Year will then bode positively with greater progress paying back all my debts. On that note, am off now to work and get those lovely orders in... Focus, focus, focus!...My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T0 -
hope you get plenty of orders0

I'm glad you're managing so well. Has your mortgage payment gone down yet? I kow how much you were looking forward to that!
I remember how hard it was for you last winter and I wonder if you could squeeze a small amount each month to save for future emergencies? Thanks for the suggestion Verbatim. My plan is to get myself back to the situation when I could pay the bills when they are due. Ok, its the mortgage only thats £340 behind at the mo, everyone else is upstraight but that will be put to right next Tues/Weds. That will be paid and I know Im alright for next months payt and the one after that!. Back to square one! With the savings I have managed to muster in terms of my mortgage payt reducing from £723 to £603, revising my utility bills and more recently being advised of a smaller min payt to MBNA as a result of them reducing my interest rate, I want to get in a situation where I am comfortably paying things as they are due, and put money into my No 2 acc as and when I have it to keep aside. Ebay items are selling, and 3 pics are set to sell at auction on the 2nd Dec. All this helps and I am determined to keep afloat. The most wonderful thing is I am reducing my debt each month, when I think back to how things used to be, yes, we've made some huge cut backs but they are working.
That said I had to collect dd from school early on friday and shes off again today so am having to review my work plan. it may be that she will have to be in the car with me for a couple of hours while I get the min I can get away with done. Take her duvet in the car, tuck her up in it and hope she falls asleep while I get on so I can get her back home! On that note, better crack on and do what I can from home to ensure the money keeps coming in!
Orders collected the other day exceeded £500, only got 37 books out on fri instead of the usual 100 plus with dd situation, but they are good customers so hopeful of at least £250/£300 today. Time will tell...My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

Hi there..just finished a marathon read of your diary from start to finish..took a few days:D
Can't really improve on anything that everyone else has said. You're amazing, brave, bold and altogether an inspiration to all of us as well as your lovely DD. We're all here rooting for you..and my gut instinct is that you're an absolute survivor and the Julian of Norwich quote is so apt isn't it..all is well and all will be well.. (and there's another amazing woman as well to inspire us too)
Much love and hugs xxx

So, life returning back to normal as dd back to school! So, the complaint with Children Services, that is completely done with now as I sent a copy of the latest correspondence from Children Services to the Governors yesterday via the school to confirm the issues had been resolved the best they will be. Yesterday, we got a letter in dds book bag confirming her place on a 10 session art therapy course which takes place an hour a week in school hours. Its to help unlock emotion and can be helpful in dealing with bereavement. I am so grateful for this and dd is v excited to think the school want her to do this. It wasn't long ago in the midst of the complaint she was crying thinking they didn't want her anymore at the school..Anyway, I have the opportunity to meet with the teacher doing the course on mon, and the timing couldn't be more perfect. Its my dh anniversary of his murder on Saturday and I hope it will help dd make sense of how she feels knowing her daddy died in a tragic way and help her face the coming years when she may want to know more and when we will both have to deal with the potential release of the murderer. And Im certain that the school have offered this to us because they realise they acted wrongly and its their way of doing something positive to help us. So, dd is v excited, Im really excited knowing dd is excited!! I pray this is the start of a happy chapter with the school!
Finances, ebay going well. everything is still tight financially but its ticking over, everything paid, and the mortgage will be up todate by next weds so Im looking forward to getting that sorted. Have lots to still sell on ebay. Been out in the gales today working but received 3 big orders, £56, £44 and £45 respectively in addition to all the others Im yet to sort out this eve when I prepare the books to go out again tom. Busy weekend coming up. Sat is a day to pay respects to dh, and also to focus on family as on sun I have all my family coming over for a buffet lunch and tea. There will be 12 of us. Dd so excited at seeing her cousins. Am making virtually everything and am so grateful to the charity who dropped off bags of food recently as a lot of that I will utilise to ensure that all I need is the fresh produce thereby keeping costs down, got it all planned out, just need to do it all and enjoy. Thats me for now...My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
