The subject matter of the games are totally different, MW2 contains scenes of terrorism, war etc which while may not be considered 'more violent' are more 'real to life' scenarios, whilst Halo is more sci-fi humans v aliens (in very simple terms!) I would not let my 15yr old nephew play it, as although he's very mature, i think he's still at an impressionable age. HTH

True.... he may go out and shoot some aliens!!!
    Starting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs

    30lb lost of 30lb by June 2012 :j:j:j (80lb overall goal)

    August: £149/£150

    Sept: £200
  • Yes, the subject matter is totally different to Halo ... and seems to hit harder than the less serious GTA.

The terrorist level starts with you walking with 4 other guys into and airport, walking up to queues of civilians, pulling out a machine gun and opening fire point blank range.
  • Great game though, been on it most of the weekend.

Back to £44.99 (!!) at Amazon now.

Also, why is the game £32 at Tesco Entertainment but £39.70 at Tesco Direct?
  • Amazon price is going up and down like a !!!!!'s drawers. £32, £38.75, £44.99, i've seen it change between all three over the last day.

I'm just going to fork out £44.99 and buy it from Game. At least i get the points and the game in my hand.

luckily got mine from morrisons at 26 quid the other day. rare to find the xbox in stock tho, mostly only ps3 versions available.
as for violence, well its actually a tame game. id be far more worried about kids watching old childsplay videos than this. at least you get to kill the bad guys!
