If i go tomorrow and it's £44.99, i'll be making a scene and making it clear to all staff and customers that i refuse to pay it.
People like you are a menace to all retailers0 -

Or, you could do the grown up thing, accept that you pay the price on the ticket and leave the shop to buy elsewhere!0 -

Hi, advice needed please before spending hard earned cash.
Since this game was announced my son has been saving to get it. The problem is he is only 12 and it is only recently that I have been persuaded, against my better judgement, to allow him to play certain certificate 16s games so he was hoping that Modern Warfare 2 was going be cert. 16. Naturally he is now very disappointed especially as many of his 12 year old friends have been allowed to get this game and those who haven't got it are supposedly getting it for Xmas. Anyway he has now been told by his friends who have played on the game that it is no more violent or sweary than the Halo games that my son is now allowed. While I find this hard to believe I would welcome unbiased opinions from people who have played this game since its release.
Many thanks in advance. ktj0 -

Ha ha!
When I read this the words of John McEnroe sprang to mind. "You cannot be serious!" :rotfl:
I'm sure you won't have to worry though about making a scene about the price..it will more than likely be out of stock.

What do I know, but I won't allow my 15 year old son to watch 18 films or play 18 rated games...but maybe that is just me.
(I'm sure he does in his friends homes, I'm not that naive, but at least he knows where I draw the line at home. I suppose I just feel they are rated for a reason as I have no wish to watch/play them myself to find out.)0 -

What kind of mothers knowingly let 12 year olds play an extremely bloody violent game especially when it is rated 18!!! No wonder this country is going to pot with a generation of spoilt thuggish delinquents being dragged up. It's hight time some mothers took a long hard look at themselves in the mirror. The shame of it all.0 -

It is 18 for a reason. Apart from the abject violence it includes a level where you play a terrorist and have to kill civilians. At the end of the day it's up to your conscience i guess.0 -
Well I was getting this for DS for Xmax, but as he's not 18 till May I will tell him he has to wait till then:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
