I think the default is 80 x 80 so maybe they meant to reduce it for everyone

Try emptying your temp internet files and see what you can see:
Tools/Internet options then Delete files followed by Delete all offline content

Webby has already said we'll need to reload avatars see [post=289467]here[/post]

Deleted offline content and now I’m seeing me avatar, wirm’s and others distorted.

What do I do now? At the bottom of my “Edit Avatar” page it still says:

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

Do I have to resize my avatar to 80 x 70 [as before] and add it to this site again?

At the bottom of my edit avatar page it says "The maximum size of your custom image is 50 by 50 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)."

When I tried to put my 80x80 one back yesterday it said it was too large.

Wonder why it is different for different users. Perhaps Webby could explain for us, please?

Getting tired now so me avatar will have to stay distorted until tomorrow.

Just checked "Edit Avatar" again and still saying 80 x 80 for me.

With all the tweaking going on at the moment I’m wondering how many more times am I going to loose my “Stars”, “Post Count” and “Avatar”

Decided to stay up, resize my Avatar [80 x 70] and add it to this site...... Again.

Well it’s back to normal for me but is it back to normal for you?
