Yes I have had 2 phone calls from them. Both on the say day within an hour of each other!
One was from Kantar and the other from Research International.
They were calling about the problem we were all having whilst entering the Misdelivery details.
...... I didn't realize we were going to get vouchers from them though!... Nice one!** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -
Strange.... just tried again and it has gone in. Nightmare trying to post this week, posted one in ordinary box instead of PO (my fault) & had to miss yesterdays (weather). Thought todays was going to be a disaster, PO just closed as I got there (PO within a shop with free standing box inside too) but luckily the box just outside on the street is classed as PO too...... phew!! Be glad when the country gets back to normal, but the snow is very pretty lol.
I haven't posted any of my letters this week and will just post them on the same days next week - assuming this weather improves. But looking out of the window now it is snowing again and blowing almost horizontally - just glad to be in a warm house.0 -
You know we all have different initials we use for our test mail?
Well I was wondering how secure our information is we divulge with the Survey people.
Sorry, i'm not making myself very clear.
Let me try again....
Along with my usual set of test mail that have my 'special' initials on them to differentiate them from my main personal post there came today a letter from a mortgage company who used the exact test initials I keep for the Surveys only.
Now how did they get hold of this information??
I do not need nor do I want a mortgage. But what concerns me, is how did this company 'Mortgage Express' get hold of my personal details?
I am registered with the TPS, MPS and every other PS I can think of to stop unwanted mail.
It hardly counts as misdelivered as it has my name and address on it.
I tried calling the phone number on the letter but after being on hold for 5 minutes at 3p+ per minute I gave up.
Any clues people?** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -

I asked this more than a year ago and they said it was a test item but not with an R number. I have one letter here waiting to be added to my no R list which is on home insurance.Anyone else get loads of specsaver letters with no r number? They drive me mad.
Yes, I get masses of those Specscavers letters with no R number on, from the Channel Islands somewhere usually. I also get letters from others without R numbers on too, along with the usual magazines. You just need to enter them in the usual way for non-Rs. Sometimes however they never appear in the list, if so I seem to remember the advice is to keep for a few weeks and even if they don't eventually appear in the list you send them back in the big grey envelope anyway.0 -

Thing is, the enclosed information is nothing like the test items we have been dealing with up to now.
I hope we are not being taken for a ride with our good will in doing this?
Sorry, pessimism oozing forth here....
I'd hate it if they had sold on our details!** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -

Ok .... Maybe.... Hope so....!
Thanks for replying one and all.
So does that mean I need to go in and enter it as an R-less item now then?** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -

Just enter it in as an R less number - then ur have a screen showing a series of numbers -think theres 6 sets - mine had a 3 digit number.
If you get one again, always look for the R number or the set of numbers, whether - 628,63988 or similiar xx
Ps I'm the same with mail, worst when I had an employment tribunal case going throu, I didn't realise at the time that ur name + address goes on a register - must of had about 20 different solicitor firms all offering legal representation- having a rgt ngtmare, always wondered what the postman thought!!
