Sorted!
Thanks to you all that is!
Never had a letter without an R number before. Never had REAL contents to a test letter before either.
I went into the Enter Received Items and then the No R Number bit and there before me was the Mortgage Express info and all the details I needed to enter about them.
So, as I was never very good at pessimism (having always been a glass half full person before) I should have trusted to my old Pollyanna ways and just realised it was an R-less Item!!
Ah well. I'll know for next time!
Thank you all for your help xx** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -

I asked this more than a year ago and they said it was a test item but not with an R number. I have one letter here waiting to be added to my no R list which is on home insurance.Anyone else get loads of specsaver letters with no r number? They drive me mad.
A few months back I got D&A (OPTICIANS) twice a week, for about thre months, my postie must have thought I had a share in their company.Like good food and drink?

Well I was wondering how secure our information is we divulge with the Survey people.
Sorry, i'm not making myself very clear.
Let me try again....
Along with my usual set of test mail that have my 'special' initials on them to differentiate them from my main personal post there came today a letter from a mortgage company who used the exact test initials I keep for the Surveys only.
Now how did they get hold of this information??
I do not need nor do I want a mortgage. But what concerns me, is how did this company 'Mortgage Express' get hold of my personal details?
I am registered with the TPS, MPS and every other PS I can think of to stop unwanted mail.
It hardly counts as misdelivered as it has my name and address on it.
I tried calling the phone number on the letter but after being on hold for 5 minutes at 3p+ per minute I gave up.
Any clues people?Cinders2001 wrote: »Thing is, the enclosed information is nothing like the test items we have been dealing with up to now.
I hope we are not being taken for a ride with our good will in doing this?
Sorry, pessimism oozing forth here....
I'd hate it if they had sold on our details!
It is survey mail, I got, and still do get letters from the SNP, which at first glance look like regular mail, rest assured they (Kantar) will not sell your details to a third party, likewise, any company they (Kantar) use will not try and pull a fast one andtry to get business via survey mail. hthLike good food and drink?

Why would they sell the names using incorrect initials (which they know would be traced to them) when they know our correct initials (unless you lied and aren't hoping to win £750 in the monthly prize draw).0 -

It's all been sorted now. All is well anyway.

I'm quite new, and have already finished the training, and just finished off a misdelivery survey last week, but haven't received anything to send off or haven't received anything to input onto the system so just wondering if it's me or anyone else.
Can anyone answer this please? I've received something to send off, but still no stamps, so wondering if anyone here has received their stamps?0 -
I got some stamps before Xmas but cant remember exactly when0
