Sorry, can i just ask: I received 3 stuff today to send off, all requiring smarts. I currently don't have any smarts in my possession. I don't even know what they are lol, can someone explain?

A smart is a special card which goes in a posting so that it can be traced through the post system. If at any time, you don't have any in stock, you can post the letter without one. You then need to record that fact when you enter your preparation part online.
Sometimes Kantar will request that you enter a specific smart (each has 4 letters on it) so look out for that when preparring letters.

I received two packets this week with no postmark on any of them, could i reuse the packet and send back contents.

No it is a good idea though, but Kantar want the physical packet back. You are free to keep the sheets of white paper in the packets that you get from them.

If you mean the packets were stamped but not post-marked, then no you shouldn't be using them to send your own post.

The stamps have been used to pay for the service provided (delivery of the item to your address) and therefore should not be used for a second time.

A quick question for anyone out there doing the Parcel Monitor - how long after receiving the notification pack do you normally receive the parcel?

I received my first pack over two weeks ago but the parcel hasn't arrived yet and am wondering whether I should contact them about it.

I have only just received a parcel but had my pack a few weeks ago. you should receive one quite soon - but its a bit disappointing when you think 'oh goody a pressy for me' and then you find it isn't. :rotfl:

But if there is no postmark on a stamp why not use it again? How are RM going to know its been used twice? (I'm talking about post in general not Kantar stuff)

Because it is illegal. Just because the chances are slim that you will get caught, that doesn't make it any more acceptable. If you noticed your neighbour had gone out without shutting their front door, would it be acceptable to walk in and steal their TV if you were sure they'd never find out it was you?
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

I have often put a stamp on an envelope then decided to hand deliver it- so have had to reuse the stamp by steaming it off

Which is not illegal. The question I commented on was about the re-use of stamps that have already been through the postal system, which explicitly is. That is fraud.

Part of this job is to send back the whole envelope and contents. Is it worth being kicked off just for one stamp!
