Don't get too hung up on shreding or puting items in the dustbin, my son works for the serious fraud office and he tells me rouges have moved on from bin sifting as the internet is much easier for them!!0

I'm doing this for the first time.. little nervous I'll screw up somehow, but hopefully it won't be too difficult. There's always a queue at my Post Office too so I hope I don't have to receive boxes.0

Just had another letter with nothing inside but the smart, have emailed them all the details as without the R number I could not enter it on-line. I am getting a lot through with things written on them and no r number. Is it just happening to me?
Happened to me quite a lot lately - never had it before though:mad:0 -
Hey everyone. I'm after a bit of advice. I have three SMART items to post, but on the schedule, it doesn't give a time time or place to post, just the date. I've emailed to ask what to do, but thought I'd ask you here in meantime."It's official, MSE's harbouring total fruitcakes">^..^<0

I wouldn't worry too much about the specific type of post box or time for a one-off. At least you have the date, & as long as you enter the exact time at which you post the item (before last collection) & log the box in your postcode area you use, it should be fine.
That said, if you log on and "View posting plan..." there's a tick box on the top left: "Show Advanced Columns". That reveals the extra info & you might find the preferred time to post is listed there, if not on your printed sheet.0 -
jesus , just got the post pack for the week after next and i've got a small box to post at a post box lol , its way too big to post in a post box , are they having a laugh ?0

You should've had a letter in one of your posting packs telling you all about how to do this - I got mine yesterday. It's only going to be twice a year or so, not that big a deal.0

Think you've misunderstood what wap was saying, he's been asked to post in a post box and the slots are too small!:rotfl:"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138
