The 6 monthly rotation of panelists is now on their news page and does apply to all private panelists
Probably good news for anyone wanting to get on to the panel thoughsave me arranging the day round deliveries

Not really, because even people who are no longer on the panel have said they still get asked to do these:("Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

I received the e-mail about "resting" periods today which had more information.
You will still be able to do misdelivery surveys while "resting".
I know someone earlier had asked whether stamps would be sent when "resting" - unsurprisingly the answer is no.
I shall be away for about 8 weeks in total in the summer so have asked if they can put me on the first resting period as that would work out quite well for me and them as they wouldn't have to send me stamps when away. Wait and see if they will accept a request or if that will be too difficult for them.0 -

Rotation dates are "randomised" which suggests the system wouldn't take account of requests from panellists. (Just a guess.)0 -

I noticed that but thought it was worth the request as actually it is to their benefit because when I have been away for 5/6 weeks at once in the past they have given me stamps for that time without me doing anything at all!!0 -
I got the email too (so much for me thinking I was lucky!
) I bet this means the end of the Christmas freebies as it would be unfair for not everyone to receive them.

I got it yesterday too. Quite honestly not sure if I'll bother carrying on at all. It is a lot of faffing about for the stamps and I have a pile of large ones which will take me forever to use up! Used a lot of 1st class at Christmas when 2nd class would have done. Only really worthwhile when getting the extras such as special stamps, parcel vouchers etc.0

The following is the reply I received when I asked if I could go on first rotation as I shall be away for about 8 weeks during the summer - so will just have to see how it works out. Wonder if you stay on the reserve list if you don't accept after the 6 month period.
"The rotation will work automatically in the same way the correctly delivered survey works.
Once you are placed on ‘reserve active’, you will be invited for the 6 month period and only need to accept if you are available"0
